Bring multiple credit cards if you’re parking to shop at the mall. The machines are ALWAYS in disrepair and refuse card after card. Today, after many attempts, another customer told us we have to pay at the exit. At street level, attendants were telling shoppers they have to pay in cash to exit. I didn’t have enough cash (because it’s a NO CASH parking system). But also: I was kept in the garage far longer than I wanted to be, and now they were trying to bill me for a delay they caused. Which we did paying a total of $5. But to our dismay on arrival at the exit gate. The machine asked us to pay an additional $1 which was a surprise to us. We tried calling for assistance by pressing the help button but no one answered. The 15 minutes of trying to pay put me at 3 minutes over the 2 hour mark, causing me to pay more. I told the parking attendant that none of the machines were working which is why I was 3 minutes over my time, but she did nothing. Apparently she has no real job functions.
