I give it 3 because they have quite a bit of variety and it is clean. Otherwise that's it. This is not against the store but 1. They need larger variety in wide sizes for women. The bit they have for me is ugly. I like simplicity. Why can't they have a couple of pairs in simple basic colors? Things got to have glitter and lace and flowers or something. 2. For store specifically there was a nice female associate that answered my questions about wide sizes nicely but otherwise the rest of the store staff should be more friendly. In my store if a customer needs to pass you move out of the way automatically. Here a few act like they don't see you. I know you have a job to do but I don't think a customer feels comfortable if you come right next to them or behind to start fixing shoes. There's not much space in the aisles anyway. Wait a moment or just say excuse me for a moment. And the register girl I'm sorry if she had a bad day. I work retail too but even if you can't be joyful at least be clear and polite. I was doing a split payment but the screen kept showing one total amount so I was confused on what was left for next payment. She did say the amount but it was quiet and sounded mumbled so I don't know what she said. I told her I only see one amount and not what's left she mumbled again the price. I didn't get it again. Plus when I asked about split payment she just looked at me and said swipe. Like no you should say. Sure. Go ahead and make your first payment. Nothing extra or crazy but it helps a customer follow what's going on. She just seemed annoyed so I'm annoyed now. I was all confused. I could've done a slit with 2 payments but because I couldn't hear her and didn't understand what she was clicking and all that I ended up splitting three ways thinking I owed more than I did. Third payment was for barely $5. If she was clearer and communicated properly we could've finished faster so she can keep line going faster. I understand the frustration of retail but even if you can't be all smiley you should always be clear in direction and polite at least unless someone really is bad to you but I don't think me asking for split payment was such...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe usually love shopping at sketchers but this location has some rude workers. We were at the store one hour before closing and one of the employee kept complaining to all the customers to keep the area clean because the store is about to close. We felt rushed and tried to get out of his way and felt unwanted. We were shopping for my mom who has foot pain and really needed to try multiple shoes to find a good fit for comfort. He complained so much that I thought the store was closing at 8:30(within 15 mins) so we tried to pay by 8:30 and were later told by another employee that it closes at 9 pm. We went back to get another pair for shoes. Later the same worker was heard complaining about how someone just tried all the shoes and didn't even buy anything so close to closing (half hour before closing) so loud that it felt almost like he wanted us to hear that. I don't get why people apply for jobs at customer service places if they can't even provide customer service during the hours posted for business operation. If you business says its open till 9 pm than a customer should be able to shop without guilt until 9 pm. It's not like we were in store after at time of store closing. I would understand his frustration if the store was at the closing hour, 9 pm and the customers refused to leave but complaining about customers an hour before closing time???? That too in front of all customers to make them feel uneasy. He kept telling customers to keep the area clean than what are 7 employees getting paid for in that store if the customer has to keep the area clean. I always put my boxes back after trying the shoes on but that's not the store policy that's me trying to be considerate. I understand people can be a handful with their mess but that's what customer service is and that's why you were hired to provide good service until...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought a pair of sneakers yesterday. They have a lot of varieties of sandals, sneakers, and flats in this location and prices are cheapest than all the sketchers stores around New York City. But on the other hand the staff are rude. The Assistant Manager who had Burgundy hair refused to help me, and told me if I can wait which then she saw me walked away, so a Spanish guy sales Associates very nicely helped me out to find a new pair which the size wasn't on display. As I was going to pay for the sneakers with my mother, the cashier who was another Spanish and a Chinese women both with black hair didn't want to give me another bag to put my box of sneakers. She told me that they were short in bags and the two boxes of sneaker couldn't fit in one bag. I had to insist to give me the other bag to put my box of sneakers. They are very greeting in giving a bag per box. If you want to shop in this location please bring an extra bag for your box of shoes or sneakers; otherwise you will have to please them to give you...
