Baby’s first haircut disaster. Stylist cut off all of my daughters thick curls. I took my daughter here this past week and it was the most upsetting experience. I called ahead to find out if they had experience with different hair textures and I was reassured that the person who would be cutting her hair had 10 years of experience with a multitude of hair types. My daughter has thick curly hair. It was clear to me from the beginning that this could not be true. Based on the comb and technique she used for detangling her hair and down to the messy haircut that basically made her look like a boy with a cheap haircut. My sweet and beautiful 1.5 year old girl got her haircut here and it was truly dreadful. The hairdresser hacked off all my baby’s beautiful curls and left her looking like a boy. For the next two months people often mistook her for a boy—the only period this has ever happened to her.
