I called to request a copy of a fiile by mail. The man answered the phone was so unhelpful. He was so rude and kept berrating me. Telling me that I need to introduce myself properly and he doesn't know who I am. Usually there are fees involved and I just needed to know the fees! I would have put everything I needed in the letter if he had just told me how to request it. Guess what mister thinks he's a judge, this is public record!!
I don't need your permission or approval to request copies of PUBLIC RECORD documents. I have the Freedom of Information Act on my side. Absolute idiot. He then rambled for 3 minutes telling me I was rude. I can't answer your questions if you never stop to take a breath and let me answer them. He then hung up on me. The funny thing is if he had just answered my question, the whole conversation would have been probably less than a minute or two. But because he had to ramble and he has a big ego and had to talk down to me, it took about 5 minutes. This man is the worst public service employee I have dealt with in my 10+ years of experience. Borderline illegal to do what he did. You cannot dictate public record documents like he was doing. The appellate division in New York just told a local court that what they were doing was illegal. And I can't wait until the appellate court tells New York City to F off. This man should be...
Read moreI felt like this court treated me with a bais background. I didn't want to waste my time and continue another motion but let me tell you that I filed a law suite against doctors at their workplace, I sued them personally I expressed that very vocally, I represented myself because carry a very extensive background with the City as a public employee. The judge ended the case as passive because she claimed I sued a hospital organization which is an entity and cant be held liable because it's a corporation and technically not a hospital... I had half a mind to start a motion against the judge for ignoring who I was sueing. I sued the doctors personally, not the hospital. I issued a summons to appear to court at their work location. The judge seemed like a good girl who's tired from a long day at work seeing different cases so I put my tears and pain that was delt to me by a monster of a person, AKA the doctor who I personally sued and not the hospital, and let the judge keep her good faith title for mistaking at trial who I sued. My judge was Ms. Brown it's all on uni courts, I could've her next but I had better things to do. If your looking to sue I'd rather spend the $209 dollars and go to the supreme court, those people really don't play around which is what I thought the civil court who is in charge to protect human rights would do, but hey maybe a new...

I called today to try and get the jury department office, and every time I hit option 9 or whatever it was, I’d get disconnected. So after the third attempt, I called the main line. Some woman picked up and I asked her for the jury department and what phone number it was. The conversation literally... no exaggeration went as such.
Me: Hi, I need to connect to the jury department but I keep getting disconnected, can I please have a direct number? Lady: It’s 646--* Me: Ok, I just have a quick que... click (She hung up on me)
So I called right back
Me: Mamm’ you just hung up on me. Lady: Who is this? Me: We literally just spoke 10 seconds ago. I wasn’t through, and you hung up on me. Lady: well I gave you the number didn’t I? Me: yes, but.. Lady: Then we good. [sic] Me: (bewildered at this point and defeated) But mamm’ I just have a couple Of questions.. and you work for me. My taxes pay your salary. Lady: Oh yeah, well my taxes pay for your salary! click Me: But...
