My first appointment for half face laser was in March 2023. Each and every visit has been helpful in reducing the hair growth and has stopped in the ingrown hair and bumps. I went from shaving twice a week to once a month. I started out scheduling my appointments every six weeks, now I just do maintenance every three to four months.. I have been doing laser treatment consistently from 2014-2019 at another place that didn’t specifically treat for women of color and it more so helped with changing the hair texture. It was less coarse, I still had ingrown and it didn’t slow the hair growth. I would highly recommend giving the Nude body lounge a chance. During each service I’m given ice packs for comfort of the sting on sensitive areas such as the chin. Shay always ask me if I would like a little break so it’s no rush. I was always scared of laser hair removal but definitely tired of shaving and plucking chin hairs. Shay really assured me that it was nothing to worry about and not painful at all! And it was really just that, pain free. She did a test on my arm so I was able to get a sense of what it would feel like before I started my session. I would really recommend Nude to anyone who wants to try laser for the first time or anyone who once had a bad experience elsewhere. I went for my chin and underarms and now I am thinking about what other parts of my body I want to be Nude!

I had an amazing experience with Shay. She is professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease during the entire process. It was important for me to go to a Black owned business due to knowledge of skin, machinery used, and lastly to support. She took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly and addressed all my questions and concerns. The treatment was quick and surprisingly comfortable, with noticeable results after my first session.
