I bought my wedding tux from P. Johnson; it was a FANTASTIC decision. I was lucky enough to work with both Tyler and Daniel throughout the process of making my tux. They immediately created a calm and comfortable environment for both me and my then fiancé in the stunningly beautiful and well considered NYC showroom. They patiently and kindly walked me through every customizable detail available when creating the tux (and trust me, there are many, many details). Their supportive, knowledgeable, and stylish approach resulted in an immaculate tux that was uniquely mine. It fit my personality, the season and location of my wedding, and complimented my wife’s dress perfectly.

I had such a great experience that I (and my wife) have become somewhat of regulars at P. Johnson. The made to measure nature of their process means every article of clothing you buy from them fits you better than anything else in your closet. Having worked with over 15 different tailoring houses over the past 5 to 6 years (from low end made to measure to full bespoke with a master cutter out of Naples, Italy), I can say without hesitation that P. Johnson does amazing work; they are one of the best tailoring houses on the market, especially since they own their own production house in Tuscany, Italy. They also have a Savile row trained cutter who oversees their digital patterns in Italy.

The staff always returns calls/emails promptly (which is not always the case for many tailoring houses who grow too fast and only focus on their high-end, big spending clients first). They are also willing to tweak your pattern --- be it your shirt, sport coat, suit, trousers -- until the fit is perfect.

While their house style is quite soft reminiscent of Neapolitan tailoring, they are not glued to just one kind of fit. You can have them make as many cuts as you wish and they have several models to...

Not only they make beautiful clothes, they also have the best team hands down. I booked an appointment at the showroom (which by the way is an incredible space) on my last visit to New York. Emery, Logan and the whole team made me feel super comfortable at all times, showed me everything I was interested in and explained carefully. Even my friend made herself at home in a corner while I browsed, chatted with the guys and tried on many pieces. They are super enthusiastic, and not just about the clothes, the guys are beyond nice and really know how to make conversation. Plus gave us great recs! I might add that they went to great lengths to even make alterations in time for me, so I had everything ready to pick up a couple of days before I left the city. I didn't even had to ask for this service, Emery happily offered me the express option and suggested what could be improved about the size. Best retail experience...
