DON'T GET YOUR EARS PIERCED HERE!
I truly hate giving this 1 start review. Ive been following this brand for years and saved up to buy 2 special pieces that I'd been eyeing for sometime.
I went to get my ear pierced and the woman was so cold. She pierced then tried to put in multiple earrings but she said they were all broken. It was EXTREMELY painful just tugging and jamming multiple earrings in my ear that didn't work. Then the piercing closed by the time she figured out what happened. She said she needed to repierce and I expressed concerned about doing it in the same spot and asked if we should do a different spot bc it was already so painful from before. She was not reassuring, still cold and not apologetic at all. She repierced it in the same place and it was the most painful thing Ive ever experienced and it would not heal. I think there was just too much trauma to the area.I went back for advice and the other associate was alarmed about my experience, how the piercing looked and the fact that they did a fresh piercing with a hoop which I guess is not what you're supposed to do (not sure why they initially said that was ok). It just wouldn't heal and I ended up spending hundreds of dollars going to the doctor to get it removed. He had to break the expensive piece just to get it ot of my ear and said it was one of the worst piercings he'd ever seen. He said it wasn't straight through and was angled through my ear in a strange way.
I reached out to Pamela Love twice in hope of atleast getting a replacement earring to put in my piercing holes and have received no response.
Truly the worst piercing experience ever, the hugest waste of money, a painful few months and terrible...
Read moreI visited the store in Williamsburg with my sister on 5/24. I've long admired the brand and on that day was considering a piercing. There was a southern lady with incredible style, a stunning black woman who looked like a model, and the piercer, Thrasher. They couldn't have been more warm and inviting, genuinely kind and conversational. Admittedly some of the pieces were out of my budget but not only did anyone make us feel unimportant, they helped me find a perfect earring on sale.
We decided to walk around and think about it, and both my sister and I were marveling at how top notch the initial experience was, and that I simply HAD to go back for a birthday splurge. It was the people first and foremost, we decided. They were so cool, chic and wonderful, they made us want to go and invest the money and effort of a new helix piercing. Best in class.
We returned an hour later and were treated in such a lovely manner. Thrasher was very gentle and made the whole thing as seamless as possible.
I've been working in sales for about 15 years, and I can say that kind of experience is rare!
They've now got a client for life in me thanks to them (and the beautiful jewelry). Can't wait to come back for the...
Read moreI attended a pop up of Pamela Love at Soho House Chicago back in April. With the purchase of any piece you could get pierced on-site, so I did. I bought a $280 stud and a $570 three stone huggie and was so in love with both pieces. Unfortunately after only wearing the huggie for 5 months all 3 stones are gone ( the opal, the diamond and the fresh water pearl). Not something I would’ve expected from such an expensive piece. I reached out to customer service and their response was even more disappointing. After sending the proof of purchase and pictures of the stoneless piece they asked me take off the earring and send it back despite explaining that I had gotten a helix piercing and it still wasn’t fully healed so I can’t take it off unless I have another earring that I can use. I never heard back from them. Needless to say, this is cheap quality and do not recommend for the...
