Paramount Caviar — Local services in New York

My husband received the tasting kit as a gift. The package was sent overnight through Fed Ex. It arrived a day late and all items were unable to be consumed. All items are labeled "Keep Refrigerated" and temperature not to exceed 38 degrees. It was packed with 3 small gel packs in mid-July. The items sat in the Fed Ex truck in 90 degree heat for an entire day! Even if the package would have arrived timely, it would have been inedible. These gifts are not inexpensive - I would not recommend this company for shipping outside of the New York area. We are definitely unhappy customers.

This item was received as a gift so a refund is not due to us. A replacement is not requested and I stand by my comments...

Don't sleep on ordering from Paramount caviar! As a business owner myself, I love supporting other family-owned businesses and it is always worth it with Paramount since they will ensure every order experience, no matter how small, will be a special one. Plus, the quality of their caviar is second to none; their owners are true caviar experts and take such pride in their product...everything down to the packaging is just impeccable! I remain impressed with every order. Their Instagram account is also fantastic; they have fun, educational content that has helped me to understand caviar more which I totally appreciate as a consumer. Paramount did more than deliver on their promises of quality, it was truly an experience. Ordered the trout roe, royal siberian, and whitefish caviars, along with an order of the sable that comes in 2.5lbs quantity. Served the caviar on mini pancakes with some classic accoutrements on the side, though none were needed as the flavors were stunning on their own. The sable was an absolute hit. Cannot get over the melt-in-the-mouth, buttery taste. Online ordering was a breeze and they were able to accommodate the request I made in the notes on my order. Delivery was prompt and all products were packaged with care. Will be ordering from them again...
