My friends and I came here several times and we'll never come back.

First, they got our order wrong. No proper apology, told us that the menu we ordered is cheaper than what we were served. Second, they served us translucent shrimp multiple times. Each time we complained, no proper apology, full of attitude. Then today we were last customers in the restaurant, the chef came to us aggressively, said sometimes the tiger shrimp they get is clear when it's cooked or something. Well, clearly it was mushy when I chewed and 3 out of 5 shrimps were all like that. I spit it all out. Then angry chef started speaking really loud in thai to his coworkers (obviously curse lol)

Oh and one more, wine is overpriced. frequently they say glass is not available and you can only order a bottle. So petty.

have to add since the owner explained their point of view about the situation. When we received wrong appetizer (winter shrimp), I asked server if it's little mermaid. She said yes at first but when I said no it's not ( I could tell because we had winter shrimp in the past) She went to the chef and came back to us, said she passed the correct order but chef made it wrong. then said "this one is more expensive than the one you ordered". She clearly didn't offer new correct dish. The only reason we took is because we didn't want to make a scene and we know it's shrimp too. Also if you saw CCTV you could tell how aggressive your chef was, right? he was in anger walking towards us and couldn't explain when I asked back why it was mushy when I chewed. He kept saying "sometimes we get different tiger shrimp" or something. Then he walked back and talked really loud in thai- can you let me know what exactly he said? obviously all of you were laughing instantly and that's why I could tell you were either mocking or cursing at us. When my friend said we are not coming back, one of your employees with blonde hair said back "THAT'S OK". I'm not sure if you were there or not, if you really care about the business, hire the right people. Your reply actually makes me even more mad because you are clearly trying to blame on us for...

House of Thai is definitely pricier than most Thai restaurants I’ve been to, but it comes with the neighborhood. Their food was absolutely delicious and packed with authentic flavors! Their service was good; our waitress served our food quickly, remained attentive as it got busier, and made sure everything was okay.

I would definitely recommend ordering their Spicy Basil Fried Rice with a Thai Iced Tea. If you can handle heat ask for their hot chili sauce, it adds a nice kick. They serve in large portions, so don’t be afraid to share with your friends! Their Mango Sticky Rice was good, but I wish it had a richer coconut flavor. For the price of the dessert they could serve you a bit more rice and mangoes. If I’m in the area again, I’ll definitely come back to try out their curry dishes or noodles and definitely have another refreshing Thai Iced Tea for these warmer spring days!

Be aware that they close for an hour around 4pm for lunch and open their doors again around 5pm! We showed up at 5pm and they made us wait outside for about 10 minutes before seating us. They could’ve at least seated us and let us look at the menu in the meantime, but I understand it’s their lunch break. That’s my only real complaint, but it won’t deter me from...

The employees are super unprofessional, rude, arrogant. Waitress Ann specially. Even they scam your Cc. Like I tipped them $ 5 on Cc and $5 cash. They made the Cc $5 , $15. And when I called them and inform them the waitress Ann was trying to make it so big she wanted me to wait for see the camera who did it and all nonsense. Wherever I had already sent her the recipe pic I have that clearly said it’s $5. The owner gotta take a strong initiative. Well I read the answer from your end, and just would like to tell you I’m in hospitality business and studied the same. Maybe we are serving wrong at our 5 stars Hotels. We got this type of billing issue everyday. And it’s pretty natural to make mistakes but we never ask our guests permission if we can check the camera!!!😉!!!!! Funny 😄 . Well we used to be your regular guest. At least twice month. And yes of course the food is good there. And you guys didn’t refund the amount yet.😄. Well the funny owner’s funny employee. Good bye you guys won’t see us again ever and business is marketing. You lose so many guests for your answer only. It made sure that not only the employees, the owner of the restaurant is...

My first time in long island NY and was craving for some asian food. This is the nearest to my hotel. At first i was doubtful about the food taste however its not bad. For the drink, i ordered the thai beer called singha a little expensive but not a bad choice of beer. I ordered the wing zap its a deep fried chicken wings marinated in thai spices ( lemony, Sour and spicy taste). For the main course, its the dancing chicken, its a mince chicken with spicies, steamed Chinese broccoli, vegetable salad and white rice. Honestly, this dish is a little bit salty for my tatse but still not bad. I usually orders a sticky rice with mango but its off seasons for the mango so i ended with a fried ice cream. They only have 1 flavor of ice cream and that is vanilla. The desert is not the best nor bad. I will definitely comeback here next time to try another meal.
