I have been a client of the London, Paris and New York salon for 10 years and built up what I thought was a trusted relationship with my stylist in New York. I have always had beautiful shiny healthy virgin hair and in March decided to explore the idea of going blonde - which I had never done before. After speaking to my stylist and the colourist I was told it would be fabulous and that of course there would be some damage to the hair quality but nothing major and that with good products and maintenance it would be fine! I trusted the advice so went ahead. They took me from dark brown to platinum blonde in one seating which completely destroyed my fine hair. Subsequently chunks of hair have broken off I have had to go back to brown with an ammonia free dye (at another salon) and have had to cut my hair into a bob. This whole experience has been absolutely devastating. I put my trust and faith in the salon and stylists and they have completely let me down. When I went back a few months later to show them the monumental damage that has been done I was given some free products and a treatment which does not make up for the emotional distress this experience has put me through. To add salt to the wound things were flipped on to me and the salon didn't accept or acknowledge the blame instead saying that it was my fault for not coming...
