I visited Sandy Liang for the first time on the day the most recent collaboration between her and Solomon dropped. Despite there being a line, the line moved pretty fast and we were in within 45 minutes. Upon entry it was clear the staff were well prepared. I was helped by Rika, and she was very helpful and patient with us as we needed some different sizing options. We found the pair that fit us from her recommendation and help. The girls at checkout were also super kind and helpful as well. Truly a nice experience for my first designer store visit.

Sandy Liang is a NYC based designer with multiple different options such as bags and clothes. We were able to walk right in, and the staff were friendly. The selections were pretty good, and prices are on the expensive side but the bags and items were of decent quality.

UPDATE: 6 weeks later from the date I placed my online order Nov 29 for a Christmas present, I have still not received the one item I ordered—and I live in NY! Have not heard back from customer service team since Dec 30 after 2 unanswered follow up emails. It is now Jan 10. Atrocious. This business sucks all around. What a sham.

Online order review - Frustrating, aggravating experience. Customer service team is unable to appropriately resolve mistakes made by their fulfillment team. Placed an order on November 29 for a Christmas present, and ended up receiving the completely wrong items on December 19—three weeks after not receiving any updates on the order.

I reached out 3x by email since this is the only way to reach customer service in the hopes they would be able to resolve their mistake by Christmas—instead they were completely unresponsive until December 26: "We apologize for the mixup here. We have created a return shipping label for you to send us back the incorrect item. In the meantime, we will work on getting you the correct items. Best, SL Team"

Completely unsatisfying response considering the grace granted to them to resolve their mistake. For close to a month I didn't receive any response/updates on my order, got the wrong item delivered, and then was asked to send back the wrong items with literally no time frame, details or guarantee on when/if I would expect my order. (Nope, they didn't respond when I asked.) BUYER BEWARE.

The infrastructure for this business needs to be addressed: they can't handle high-volume orders across the country, but worse, they won't really attempt to make it right. It makes it hard to support the brand when they drop the ball regularly and treat customers indifferently—I've certainly shown patience and understanding throughout the years to accommodate the growing pains of their popular brand. What an...

I truly wanted to love this brand and support another Asian female designer because we need more of them. So I decided to stop by their sample sale to try out a few pieces. I got there at 6pm and missed the lady who was giving out stickers by 30 seconds. The person in front of me was the “cut off” but it was advertised that the sample sale would end at 7pm. I told a staff member and decided to wait anyways. Meanwhile people were skipping the line from left and right field. The line was moving and by 6:40pm they let the girl in front of me in and told the rest of us that’s been waiting “they’re done for today”. There was still a whole 20 mins left and the staff didn’t adequately handle the line. This experience left me a lingering distasteful vibe and makes me question if this brand is worth my hard earned dollars. I have never been to a sample sale where they cut the line early and it’s one thing to let people in until 7pm and then hard close it. It was such a waste of peoples time, effort and energy and had 0...

I discovered Sandy Liang recently at the recommendation of a very stylish friend - and let me just say WOW. Obviously the designs are stunning, but my favorite part is shopping Sandy IRL. The store is beautifully curated and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. Last time I went, I was shopping for a vacation and was helped by a really nice girl (I think her name was Maddy?) and she helped me find some pieces that were perfect for my trip! I left having purchased way more than planned but it was totally worth it because the compliments keep...
