The blonde woman who works at the bar was EXTREMELY RUDE! Terrible customer service. Awful hospitality.

I understand that you must enforce the rules but there is a kind and polite way to do that. The bouncer was very kind and showed empathy for my friend who had her wallet stolen. The woman at the bar did not. She was unkind, rude, dismissive, and I could go on. I said it once and I’ll say it again. Terrible customer service. Awful hospitality. In your response you said “We assure you that race or ethnicity plays absolutely no role in how we enforce our entry policies. Your accusations are not only misplaced but hurtful & divisive to a community space that everyone works towards enjoying.” What’s hurtful and harmful is putting words in my mouth. Hart Bar is one of those cozy neighborhood spots that feels hidden yet inviting. I visited five days ago in the early evening and the vibe was just right—chill music, warm lights, and a relaxed crowd. The indoor setup is charming, with wooden walls and lots of plants that give the place a natural, earthy feel.

I ordered a whiskey sour and it was well balanced—smooth, not too sour, and perfectly cold. The bartender was professional and easy to talk to, which added to the atmosphere. It’s definitely the kind of place where you can come alone or with friends and still enjoy yourself.

What I liked most was the seating area by the large windows—it lets in a lot of light and makes the space feel bigger than it is. There’s also a patio section which I plan to try on my next visit. Prices are reasonable for Brooklyn, and the overall experience was relaxed and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a calm spot to unwind in the city, this is a great choice.

I went in here on the intuition that this place seemed more intresting than where we were headed and oh boy was I right. Cool atmosphere and being a hifi enthusiast my eyes were immediately drawn to a beautiful vintage kenwood reciver (not just for show as it played the music all night). I was visibly excited and the bartender saw and we chatted about hifi for a while. Let's not forget the drinks though. Some of the best cocktails I have ever had that I wouldn't be surprised to pay twice as much for in Manhattan. Hell I've had glasses of beer that were more expensive than these cocktails. Never before have I had such a emotional/nostalgic reaction to a drink. It sounds silly but te smell and taste transported me into some great memories.
