Disclaimer: while this review accurately captures my experience, I do not think this is the case for all customers of this service. There were 3 other customers there at the same time as me, and they seem to have left happy with the results. I believe this was likely a problem with the particular lash tech I had, not the entire service itself.
I typically do not write reviews, but this was an exceptionally terrible lash extension that people should be warned against. The place is clean and the reception is nice, but the lash extension process / result was painful. I told the lash tech throughout the process that it felt like something is poking my eye, and that the extensions were a bit painful as it felt like it was pulling on my lashes. The lash tech ignored my comments and simply said that there is nothing there that could bother my eye. When the extensions were done, I could clearly see that several were stuck to the inside of my eyelids / pushed up so directly against the eyelid that it was partially attached to the eyelid or causing pain by poking my eye every time I blinked. I pointed this out to the lash tech, who again refused to acknowledge that this was the case and only said that “it was on the lash” and that she can “just remove them if they were hurting my eye”. I chose to leave and remove them myself at home given that I was the last customer and the store was closing, and the extensions hurt my eyes so much the whole way back that the lash line was red and irritated by the time I got home.
I have been getting extensions from different services for the last 2 years, but this was the first time extensions were truly painful and caused physical irritation to my eyes. Instead of pretty, fluffy lashes that I was expecting, I ended up with stiff, painful lashes glued right up against / on my lash line with chunks of glue. This was a large waste of $65, and I will not...
Read moreIn general, good and efficient service for the price and I have come here several times and been satisfied with the results! However the quality varies depending on who your stylist is. Last time, they randomly switched my stylist mid way through (which was awkward and unprofessional because my eyes were taped shut and I don't understand Korean so I couldn't tell what was going on, and no one told me what was up but I felt different hands touching my face) and towards the end they switched AGAIN to a 3rd stylist. When I asked to continue drying my lashes with the fan because the glue was burning, they seemed a little exasperated and in a rush because it was near closing time, but this wasn't my fault as I had arrived to my appointment 4 mins early but they started me 5 mins later than my time slot. I noticed the quality this time has been worse. Usually, they last for at least 3 weeks and look great. However, it's been less than 2 weeks and many lashes have fallen out already, and others are going awry in different directions. Not sure what went wrong but I would suggest not booking the latest appointment in the day, in case they rush near closing! I'll give it another try, as it's the best deal for lashes that I've found, but I really hope the quality is as good as my...
Read moreCame all the way from Bayonne to come visit bc one of my clients recommended! They’re great and so quick. I honestly had no idea what i wanted & the receptionist was a big help. I’m used to private rooms so it was a little weird for me bc I’m a snorer (yes embarrassing). But honestly like who cannot fall asleep to relaxing music played in the background. The total was $112 including tip. I’ve gotten the 120 lashes per eye & also a lash soak off. I was so tired of Jersey prices i went to Edison & it was $180 and my lashes were falling out the next week. So far is been 4 days but i have not seen one lash fall out. I was also trying to figure out what lash tech to book with, although no one recommended a certain tech. I went with Jessie, i think that’s what her name was. Anyways it only took an hour & 20 min for a lash soak...
