KTown Dance Studio — Attraction in New York

K Town Dance Studio is hands down one of the best places in New York to dance bachata! I started my bachata journey here three years ago, and it’s been like a second home ever since. Steven and Kasia are amazing instructors - genuinely kind, warm, and caring people who make you feel like family.

I’ve even celebrated my birthday here three years in a row, and when I moved to Miami, they gave me the sweetest farewell circle — that’s how special this community is. The Saturday night socials are the best in the city — great music, perfect atmosphere, friendly people, new dancers and instructors from all over the world!

I’ve made lifelong friends on this dance floor and learned so much, not just bachata but also kizomba and zouk in their second room. I’m so grateful for KSsensual bachata and everyone I’ve met here. Been taking classes for a few years already and since day one I felt like I’m at home, welcomed, valued and appreciated. Teachers are very kind, nice, respectful and always patient to respond all the questions. It’s close to impossible, to be all together, a great teacher and master at what you are doing and the same time enjoying what you do and have fun; but they manage to do that! Great vibes, while providing the highest quality of teaching and techniques. I have been taking classes since May of this year, and in my opinion this is the best school in NYC to learn the fundamentals of bachata sensual. Steven and Kasia are very detailed in teaching the proper body movement technique, which is very helpful especially to beginners.
