Shop 86 is a pretty cool vintage /thrift shop. More of an industrial feel then the others on this block. A few different pieces as well that the others didn’t have jacket wise. It was a bit more cramped in areas but overall still felt spacious. Saw some really unique pieces that I wish we had found earlier in the season! They also had some cool stained glass pieces and necklaces. A few small planters and some distressed signs. A cool shop with fitting rooms! It’s worth stopping in on your tour of the other stores on the block; I would NOT skip here....
Read morePricing here was absurd. I don’t mind paying a bit extra at a good vintage store to account for the time it takes to source good pieces, but this store was not delivering. Pieces were largely polyester at insane markups (we’re talking up to $200 for cheaply made poly shirts). There are some name brand items scattered about the store but for markups like that who really cares? It’s hard to trust the authenticity of the items as well given the markup. While shopping whomever was taking in new inventory and marking prices was just shouting what they should charge per item... not very inviting atmosphere when you are listening to them argue over whether to charge $158 or $128 on pieces that shouldn't be that value.
