Read moreI rushed to make it there by 4pm because Google says they close at 5:00PM, but apparently they officially close at 6PM. I only learned about that because I thought it was strange that they weren't trying to close the store at 4:45PM.
The store is pretty big, clean, and seems very orderly. You just have to make sure you check in at the door by putting your name into the system so they can add you to the list. I think I interacted with the manager, Paul, because he was in a Black Jacket, while everyone else was dressed in blue. Everyone seemed pretty pleasant and nice while they spoke to everyone in the store. It was nice that they were able to speak English, Mandarin, and Spanish.
Anyways, Paul was super nice and helped me overcome a bunch of the problems that were associated with my account because I had called Spectrum to set up internet in my home. Apparently they have better deals if you go into the store. Paul was super nice and patient, and told me about other options that were available for the same price (and without a contract). Obviously I was skeptical, but I googled it also and was able to confirm that the plan he offered me did not have any strings attached. It was nice to be able to speak to a person to help navigate the process. He even gave me the lowdown on the self-installation and how it was very easy to do and warned me about problems that might pop up and how to overcome them. He even wrote down a number to call to have the modem activated in case I ran into problems.
I offered to write a customer satisfaction survey for him, but he said it wasn't necessary and he was happy to help. How nice! Obviously I still wanted to say thanks to Paul and his team and I am appreciative that they basically worked a whole day on Sunday!...
Read moreSo rude, unbelievable. It was my first time going into the store to replace my router because it wasn’t working and I didn’t know I had to sign in on the waitlist to get help. So I just stood in line waiting until sales reps were done with customers. But then I see this one asian guy with glasses today (working on Wednesday, opening shift) finish with a customer. Then, he proceeds to roll his eyes at me and other people and go into the back room. So, I went up to this white guy with tattoos who was just staring blankly at his computer this whole time and he tells me it’s rude to just stand there and stare, and that’s why the asian guy left. It’s baffling how he calls me rude when he’s giving attitude to a customer who has been to that store for the first time. He was mumbling and I was so shocked at his attitude that I made him repeat himself. He ended up helping me in the end, but only because he probably realized he was doing too much with his attitude. He could have pointed out to me that I needed to join the waitlist while I was waiting for help instead of just sitting there and blankly staring at his computer screen. And that asian guy needs to stop rolling his eyes, it’s very apparent. I’m very disappointed with the service. If you don’t want to work, don’t. Stop making your customers go through something baffling like this....
