I HARDLY HAVE TIME TO DO WHAT I NEED TO DO BUT I DROPPED EVERYTHING TO SAY 2 DAYS AGO I GOT SICK IN TARGET SO EMBARRASSING RIGHT.... THESE 2 WOMEN WORKING THERE HELPED ME.. I'M TALKING DID MY SHOPPING, BROUGHT ME A CHAIR, I SPILLED STUFF ON THE FLOOR, I ACTUALLY THOUGHT I'D B ON THE FLOOR NEXT, I WAS SO SICK.. IT CAME ON SUDDENLY. ONE WOMAN SUGGESTED EMS I WAS LIKE NO, NO, I JUST WANT TO GO HOME.. THAT WAS A PROBLEM SINCE MY PHONE DIED & I ALWAYS CARRY MY PORTO POWER & THE 1X I DECIDED I DIDN'T NEED IT.."OH WELL". I FELT I WAS ACTUALLY@ ANYONE'S MERCY.. I COULDN'T HAVE FELL INTO THE HANDS OF 3 MORE WONDERFUL ANGELS.. YES THERE WAS A GUY THERE ALSO & I'M NOT MAKING LITE OF THAT IN ANY WAY.. IT'S JUST THAT THIS ONE ANGEL WAS A GEM... IT KINA RELATES TO HER NAME WHICH FOR OBVIOUS REASONS I WON'T REVEAL... AFTER SHE DID ALL THESE THINGS TO HELP ME SHE CHECKED ME OUT, CALLED A CAR, BROUGHT ALL MY SHOPPING & OTHER THINGS I ALREADY HAD.. SHE PUT ME & ALL MY STUFF IN THE CAR & TOLD THE DRIVER TO MAKE SURE I GET HOME SAFE & TO HELP ME... THEY CALLED MY BUILDING & ASKED FRONT/SECURITY TO BE OUTSIDE WAITING@ MY REQUEST STILL SHE MADE SURE IT REALLY GOT DONE... THE THING IS I WANTED TO PAY HER FOR THE CAR SHE REFUSED IT WAS LIKE I TRIED & IT WASN'T EVEN OPEN FOR DISCUSSION AS SHE HELPED ME INTO THE CAR I THANKED HER AGAIN & AGAIN.. I WONDER NOW DOES SHE & THE OTHER 2 VERY SPECIAL PEOPLE KNOW HOW TRULY THANKFUL I REALLY AM. I'D PROBABLY B EMBARRASSED TO GO BACK THERE, NOT FOR ANYTHING THEY DID (FOR SURE). BUT JUST BECAUSE OF WHO I AM.. I DON'T KNOW IF ANYONE CAN RELATE TO FEELING YOU'RE COMPLETELY@THE MERCY OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES, SICK, OMG- NO PHONE & FEELING LIKE U CAN BARELY STAND.. YET I SOMEHOW FELT SAFE.. THIS IS HUGE..U DON'T FIND THIS OFTEN... THAT'S WHY I SAY THIS WOMAN IS AN ANGEL & THE OTHER WOMAN & THE MAN ALL VERY SPECIAL!!! THESE PEOPLE ARE ONES THAT THEIR MOTHER'S WOULD BE PROUD OF& THAT'S A LOT TO SAY... IN THE END I ARRIVE HOME 2 GUYS OPEN THE DOOR GRAB ALL MY STUFF & ME,. GET MY PACKAGES THAN MY LONG X FRIEND WAS ON HIS WAY OUT HE ENDED UP TAKING ME BY THE ARM, THEY ALL DROPPED ME OFF@MY APT. MADE SURE I WAS ALRIGHT, SAID G.N. & LOCKED ME IN. ALL BECAUSE OF THE HELP & CARING OF ONE WOMAN/ANGEL @. TARGET. YES I WOULD SAY MY SHOPPING THERE IN SPITE OF EVERYTHING WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.. WHICH COULD HAVE BEEN VERY UGLY. YOU KNOW THE TYPICAL RESPONSE OH YOU MUST LEAVE THE STORE.. I WOULD OF BEEN OUT THERE IN THE COLD, SICK, IN PAIN WITH ALL THIS SHOPPING I ALREADY HAD INCLUDING PAIN MEDS I JUST GOT FROM PHARMACY. A DEAD PHONE.. I COULD HAVE DEFINITELY PASSED OUT.. SO THE KINDNESS & CARING OF ONE PERSON@. TARGET MADE SUCH AN AMAZING AND IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE....

the worst customer experience ever -- I tried to return something I had ordered. I spent 10 minutes on line (that was ok) and another 25 minutes while they tried finding it in the system even though I had the receipt. What I was carrying was two enormous boxes and was on my way out to dinner. Brian the manager told me that instead of trying to find the order he could just find it using my credit card and ID. I complied but when he processed it that way, It rang up $50 less than what I paid for it (I just received the order the day before). He told me that when you return something without the receipts it gives you back the lowest price. I showed him both the receipt and the receipt in my phone (which showed that it was $50 more than what he was offering me). He told me that in order for me to get the full amount back I would have to call customer service. I didn't have a problem with that. Its a brand new store and I expected glitches and allowed a half hour for this but not 45 min. I said I would call customer service in the morning but explained that I was on my way out for dinner which was 3 blocks away and I could not carry the large boxes nor could I bring them to the restaurant and asked if I could leave the boxes there for 2 hours but he refused. He told me he was not allowed to do that and it was MY merchandise. I asked him if there was an office that he could leave it in just while I went to dinner but he flatly refused. He was kind enough to put the plastic handles on the boxes but I had to take the boxes back home and then go to dinner, only now I was 45 minutes late. This is horrible customer service. I really do understand computer problems - I had the receipt, both paper and on my phone which I showed him but it didn't matter and I understand that if its not in the computer there is nothing he can do about that - that was beyond his control, but he COULD have put the boxes somewhere for 2 hours THAT would have been good customer service and had been much appreciated, That WAS in his control. And I was 45 min late to meet my friends for dinner. Everyone loses in...

This Target is horrible. The employees are constantly just fooling around with each other and god forbid you ask them a question. Inventory carts are always blocking a lot of aisles while the employees are always grouped up in different parts of the store talking. I asked an employee for help during self checkout when I didn’t see a discount applied on an item that very clearly said it was 20% off for Target Circle members and the dates of the promotion were 1/14-1/20. First problem is when I started explaining the issue, she was off looking at her friend in the distance and laughing with her saying ā€œI’m helping a customerā€ and then turned back to me and said ā€œWhat?ā€ so I had to repeat myself. She scanned the item and said no discount was showing up. I told her there’s a sign there that says there’s a discount and I could show her the sign. She just laughed at me and fiddled with her scan thing and just said ā€œWhat do you want me to do, change the price?ā€ while laughing again. She was of no help, she wouldn’t even try to help me fix this issue, I offered to show her the sign so she could tell me if I was missing something but god forbid I ask her to do her job. All she was worried about was going back to her friend to talk.

The manager at this place really needs to reevaluate their employees and actually hire people who will work and not just hang out with...

It's a relatively small target non the less they have a little bit of everything. I was dying for this store to open for the longest cause it's just couple of blocks away from my apartment (convince to the maximum). LES definitely needed this spot for a quick grocery shopping. The workers were extremely friendly and helpful. Ignore the reviews that are bad mouthing the employees here (they probably think that the world revolves around them). This place has restrooms and water fountain. I totally like the inside design, definitely a LES vibe. Since the store just opened it is extremely crowded. To avoid lines for checking out get there early morning or late evening. I'm sure the hype will die off soon in a month or two.

This newer Target is just over the bridge for me. If I want to, I can take a good walk there. Yet I was very disappointed in this Target location. I mean we all know how large they are but not this location. Like always, anywhere in New York City/Manhattan area, parking is always a challenge to being with. For me, it's only worth coming here for emergency needs but I don't believe I'll do much shopping here.

I didn't have any interaction with any staff so cannot comment on customer service, but the location is quite small, and more of a convenience location. Understandably its in Manhattan, so can't compare it much bigger locations in the suburbs, but just by the real estate alone, its very small with a light selection of products.
