Studio 17 Recording — Local services in New York

The Worst studio in NY! I had a horrible experience in the studio. I didn't feel welcomed when I arrived there. The engineer did not label my tracks probably and his demeanor was very off putting. he wanted me to airdrop him the instrumental when I sent it to the studio email the day before so it doesn't eat into my PAID studio time --- he labeled my vocals --- REC 1, Rec 2 etc. when he save it to drive (LAZY! much?) and my coach ended up having to do it on my behalf. Its extremely frustrating do be sold on "clientele" rather than deliverance. Another engineer had to be the one to "fix" the issues with my track outs and instead of him sending me the full track outs, he picked the ones he wanted to when its MY TRACK!!!! There is 0 accountability and the studio manager didn't even follow up on the engineer making sure I was taken care of. Please save your money and go else where. I was desperate so I ended up booking here last min but the FIRST and LAST time I spend my hard earned dollars at this poor excuse of an establishment.

Avoid one of the engineers here named Cali I think he purposely messed up our tracks and was mixing it his way without us telling him to do so. So I took the stems to another engineer and his exacts words were “I noticed a couple track completly empty and alot of clipping so we might need to redo some of those tbh. Ya, this dude looks like he was just trying to get the track done ASAP without caring. Engineer really didn't give AF” plus this studio is overpriced sound quality ain’t even all that. If I could give 0 stars I would. If you can’t listen to what an artist wants and can’t do it then why are you engineering for?...

you have a great space, very comfortable and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. studio quality is amazing , great place to catch a vibe and make music as a musician. professionalism at its finest. studio 17 is an upcoming studio which is making its way to the top, i highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to make music. i wouldn't hesitate in booking your...
