Sunny Nail Salon — Local services in New York

I’ve been coming here consistently for 9 months with my friend. We come once a month and get our nails done and they always do a good job but the past 3 times we’ve gone the lady has been extremely rude. I thought maybe she was having a bad day or something but it’s been 3 times in a row now. And this time, she demanding i give her a tip with cash but when she asked cash or card i made it very clear i had only card as i NEVER have given cash. ever. She skipped over the screen to give a tip with card and then was mad and stomped away when i told her i didn’t have cash and if she could find a way to go back to the tip screen I’d give her a tip. once i got home i looked on my account and she has given herself a $10 tip from my card without my permission, i had no problem giving a tip but she refused one on the card and wanted cash only but didn’t ever say this once before or is it listed anywhere on their website or store that they only want cash tip now. I’m so upset bc i love this place but they’ve just been so rude and now stole money from me… very sad and very...

i was on my last straw with this place as todays service was a waste of my money. i have honestly been coming here for convenience for about a year and some change since i moved. their services really have pontential and i never really had a complaint until this year. the guy there is usually nice. the second and third girl are super nice and welcoming the times i have came. i have been doing SNS powder dip here from the start. please keep in mind that you have to soak off every set. in todays soak off i noticed that i have freaking "greenies" 😵‍💫 the funny part is that the lady (same one who did my last service) acts like it's nothing and all is good. i asked "what is this" and idk if she completely disregarded or didn't understand due to the language barrier. at this point i already know what it is and it's literally nothing you can do about it so i wasn't going waste my breathe knowing that i won't be coming back .... if it wasn't for an event i have today i would've stop the service but im literally soaking it off tonight. never coming...

Sunny Nail Salon isn’t anything fancy, but it’s a place where I always feel welcomed. The ladies are super friendly — it almost feels like family taking care of your nails. It’s a typical local spot that’s comfortable, genuine, and easy to walk into.

I usually go for very basic, natural manicures and stop by on lazy Saturdays when I want something quick and simple.

I also tried a 10-minute leg massage recently because my legs were swollen, and it was surprisingly great — the pressure and movement were on point.

It’s a bit sad to see the lower reviews, because for someone like me who prefers a relaxed, natural look, this place has always been good. I’m just happy to have them in my neighborhood.
