Taiwan Massage — Local services in New York

I wish I can like this place but I can’t. I bought a massage package upfront entirely in cash for 5 sessions in lower price per session and later on they switched ownership or management and deny to take the package anymore. What a scam!!! DO NOT BUY THEIR PACKAGES Unless u know u will spend all of it in a few months. I am very regretted now and will never buy packages from any of these places anymore. Very shady and not honest to their customers.

Not just that the business itself is shady, the massage session wasn’t pleasant. I was brought into the room with a guy next to me with just a pure curtain as divider... EXCUSE ME? I had to request for a room with women only. And once I got in the room, the massager came in and massaged me for 15 mins or so, there was another customer came in and looked for my massager so she left me without telling me and a new massager took over... that’s very unpleasant as 1) this is a service which requires tips and if the massager has to leave, it really needs the customer to be ok with it first. If any random customer walks in and want the massager in session without reservation, it’s their problems not mine. Without my consent and switch a new massager is totally unacceptable. 2) massagers keep picking up phone calls in session that really bothers me...

There are times that the massager is good but that’s maybe 1 out of 10 visits u may be able to find a good one. Good...

Maybe a year ago or more, I began going to this place because of the quality of the massage. Until recently, no more effort, but more on sales. They had me on a table waiting for nearly an hour... then convinces me to stay after I had become impatient... only to have her answering calls and texts with the other hand throughout. I looked forward to that massage all week. I was so disappointed. My husband went again another day and told him she has a new pretty girl. He usually falls asleep in those massages, but he wasn’t relaxed at all. We’re not ones for confrontation, but services haven’t been up to par, which brings another point, they’ve been very bold when it comes to asking for more tip. We try to rationalize like maybe that their tips are their only income, but their practices have become consistently upsetting. I hope they can correct how they run...

Never went to a spa where they force you to give a large tip!!! I was paying for my massage with my credit card and the lady owner asked if I would like to leave a tip and I said yes. I told her the amount which was way more than the minimum tip for massages because there is a sign on their wall stating the minimum tip is $10. She did not swipe the card and asked if I liked the service which I did that’s why I was leaving a large tip. She did not swipe the card and asked again “you like, you like?”. She would not swipe the card until I doubled the amount of the tip. WTH?!? I’d understand if it was a 5 star spa but it’s NOT!!!
