Tarin Thomas — Local services in New York

I cannot even begin to describe my experience here. My husband and I were looking for wedding bands about a month before our international wedding. I will say at the store, the ladies were very nice but that is when the experience went downhill. After purchasing a full silver band for my husband and 14k gold for myself, they assured me they would deliver quickly.

The delivery was on time, but when we opened the ring, it was VERY clear that the 14k gold band was plated gold (very light and flimsy). After some back and forth, they finally agreed and sent expedited the 14k (which when arrived was clearly different). One mistake, fine. In our hurry, we did not check the silver ring. When we arrived at our international destination, we realized the silver wedding band was at least 2 sizes too big. It was too late and we had to wear during the wedding. Unfortunately amongst the chaos, the ring (predictably) slipped out. We spent hours looking for it on our wedding night and could not find. Complete incompetence that put a damper on our night.

I cannot believe of the 2 rings, they could not get a single one right. Not sure if this is utter incompetence or worse (fraud). I cannot recommend this...

Tarin Thomas is one of my favorite stores not just in NYC, but in general. The designs are unique, the quality is second-to-none, and the owner Kylie cares about her customers (as do the other employees). I’ve gotten multiple necklaces, bracelets, and rings that I wear almost every day that look as beautiful as the day I bought them.

I also worked with Kylie to create a custom piece using a stone from an old necklace with tons of sentimental value. She worked with me until we got the design just right. It’s now my favorite necklace I own. I can’t say enough positive things about this store or the people that work there (particularly Kylie and Jenny). Lastly, the vintage collection of jewelry, accessories, and clothing is small...

Tarin Thomas is the most charming west village store! They have something for everyone. Their classic checkered collection, elegant and timeless pieces, and also some vintage jewelry with precious jewels. I especially adore their curated vintage clothing, belts, shoes, and jewelry. Their sales associates are also so kind and always willing to help!! They even make their items to order so if you want to personalize an item or need a very specific size, they’ll do it for you! If you’re looking for a small gift, this is also the perfect place! They carry unique candles, lighters, vintage glassware, and so much more. They offer pop up events for other small businesses on the weekends too! Such a fun store I highly recommend...
