had my first haircut with May at Y&J Hair Salon, and I have to say, she is absolutely incredible! May is extremely professional, and her skill and attention to detail are second to none. She took the time to customize my haircut to perfectly suit my needs, and the result was beyond my expectations.

Even though it was my first time with her, I’ve already decided that May will be the only person to cut my hair for the rest of her career! She is truly talented, and I sincerely hope that the owner of Y&J Hair Salon recognizes her exceptional value to the team.

I live in Long Island, and even though it’s quite far for me to travel, I will continue to come here for all my hair needs as long as May is working at this salon. If she ever leaves, it would be a huge loss. May is the reason I’ll remain a loyal customer for life!

I don’t mind to pay three times higher price than the neighborhood if the quality and service deserve it, but I just can’t tell any difference between this $30 haircut than $10 in the neighborhood. There are not prices posted anywhere unlike others on the window or front door, I walked in without even asking. 10 min later when I was paying, realized it was $30. I was surprised and questioned the owner, he then showed me a list price on a piece of paper. I was hesitating to tip my barber since I felt I was charged unreasonable price at a dirty Chinatown area location, but it was not his fault, so generous rewarded him. I felt like I stayed in motel 6 but paid a five star...

I google this place and i went there for hair cutting after hair cutting may be the manager or owner forced me to pay tips but i don’t want to pay tips and after he told me it’s compulsory it’s USA rule, well tips is up to us I nevere heard that it’s compulsory.
