I initially had a pleasant experience with a Casmara treatment, which led me to choose this location for my laser routine. I previously considered the membership because it is convenient for me to go to Flushing and I originally thought the environment was clean and fine. However, I have encountered several issues since then. Each visit, I was persistently forced to purchase additional services that were not relevant to my needs. When I declined, I noticed a decline in the quality of care, including improper handling of my acne during pre-laser face washing and shortening of treatment time. The attitude of the estheticians was disappointing and unprofessional, though the laser treatment practitioners were fine.

Moreover, the laser treatment sessions were significantly shorter than expected. A typical laser treatment, including cleaning, treatment, and aftercare, should last around an hour. Here, the sessions only took a total of 20 minutes: 1-2 minute for cleaning, 3-5 minutes for the laser, and 10-15 minutes for a facial mask. Despite the brief duration, each treatment is priced at $499 for M22 IPL, $850 for Fotona, $599 for NuEra Tight.

The first visit was nice, but I had really disappointing experiences after that, very much depending on who you visit (they won’t follow who you book with). I hope this feedback is helpful for future clients...

I found YJ Skin Solutions on Groupon and I’m so glad I did! I haven’t had a facial in over 15 years. I bought the 75 minute deep cleaning with extractions. I loved that you could book online and get in quickly! The people at reception were very nice. I loved the facial! The extractions weren’t too painful. My skin is doing a little purging afterward but that is to be expected. My pores are sooooooo clear!!! I don’t think they have ever been this clear! They also didn’t try to upsell me like some salons do when you buy a groupon. They didn’t push at all which I was pleased with. My one complaint is that the technician barely said a word to me. I think it’s pretty common for the technician to explain what they are doing/using on your face. She didn’t tell me anything. There might have been a language barrier though, not sure.
