My daughter became a student with Vielka during the height of the pandemic when she was 10 years old. We were looking for a healthy outlet for her when in-person options were so limited. During my phone consult with Vielka, I shared that my daughter had felt discouraged from singing at age 8 when she did not get the part she auditioned for. She had always loved singing, but after that perceived "failure," she shut down, believing her voice was "not good enough."

Working with Vielka and her team was a blessing for my daughter. It gave her something to look forward to each week during a bleak time, but more importantly, it helped build her confidence and enjoyment in her own voice again. My daughter enjoyed the one-on-one time with her teachers, as well as the fun seasonal recitals. Vielka cultivates a positive, encouraging environment for all of the kids she works with while also teaching them important vocal technique.

My daughter has grown by leaps and bounds since her time at Young Singers Academy, and I am so grateful for Vielka's guidance and care in helping my girl open her heart to singing again. That window of time was such a crucial part of my daughter's journey. She has since been working with a vocal coach in our area, who is well-connected to the local theater scene.

My daughter is now 13 years old. Over the past couple years, she has participated in various auditions and callbacks, performed in four local musicals, and is currently working on two more. Last week, she landed a lead female role and is over the moon excited!!

LIFE CHANGING!!!! My daughter has been singing around the house since she was 2. Even without any lessons, she still managed to sound surprisingly good! But we wondered how much better she might sound if she had training on top of that.

The teachers have always been incredibly nice and just gently coax her along. But it's all these little tiny adjustments they make along the way that add up to truly stunning performance.

I believe singing is the way to express the soul and I wanted to give my son this gift of self expression. I found the Young Singers Academy thru a Google search and signed my six year-old son up for private classes, and they have far exceeded my expectations! The classes are structured very well and easy for the children to understand and sing comfortably in. The teachers are experts at working with children and are incredible singers. My husband and I love to listen to my son’s classes— we feel like we’re getting a private concert in our living room because the teachers are Broadway level singers.
