Had an imposter posing as Geek Squad hack my computer place an order for Amazon which I was able to cancel. When I go into Geek Squad they offer me a one year free membership and regards to this and then they don't want to honor it and want to charge me $179 as we use my computer for homeschooling purposes Geek Squad is a joke. Don’t bother! After 30 minutes on hold, made an appt to come in. 1st available was three days, got there and the tech was so disorganized and clueless, she never actually got around to looking at my computer. She just said I need to buy a new one because it’s too old and they can transfer data for a fee. Yes, it’s a 7 year old Mac, but she didn’t even try to troubleshoot. I asked the cost of transferring data, and after waiting 10 minutes for her to find “the book”, gave up and went to the computer dept. prepared to buy a new one.
