This is the WORST experience I have had at a firehouse restaurant!!!! I placed an order online because I know this location is prone to be slow! I placed my order at 12:02, the app said it would be ready 12:20 because of a train I arrived at 12:34, and to my disbelief my order was not ready for me to pick up! I said fine let me drop off something and come back, I came back at 12:50 it was STILL NOT prepared!! Two of the guys that had been waiting when I walked in the first time had also been waiting for their online order that they placed at 12:00!! When I went to the app to cancel my order it said to call the store. While I am standing in the store I called and they WOULD NOT ANSWER the phone I let it ring until it disconnected me! I stood in line and told them I wanted to cancel my order they said because it was placed online I had to cancel through the app. The app tells me to call the store the lady said there is nothing they can do about that I have to call customer support I tell her again the app says to call the store. They did NOT offer a solution, they REFUSED to CANCEL my order and the app says it will take 12-48 hours for someone to get back to me!😡😡😡 this is infuriating!! Read moreon 11/5/2023 my husband and I went to get some food, as my order was being prepared I noticed and heard the person who was preparing my food coughing with a terrible cough, he put his arm on his mouth to cover his cough, I then witness him taking a napkin to clean his nose he proceeded to leave to the back, when I got my order, I respectfully when up to the counter and asked for the manager with a shallow tone of voice as it was not my intention to embarrass anyone or make a scene. I asked for the manager and it happened to be that the manager was the same person who had prepared my food, I told him with a low tone of voice I didn't feel comfortable eating the sandwich, and he with a very condescending attitude said "You do not have to eat it, I responded I won't. He didn't offer another sandwich, he wasn't apological, and he did not even offer a refund. I quietly sat down at my table as the manager proceeded to talk about the situation with his colleagues. This is very unsanitary, very careless behavior on behalf of a manager, he treated me poorly and didn't care about the reputation of the establishment. Read moreThis is my second visit in 2 months I have gone to this location only to disappointment.The same young adult manager female is so unpleasant all you hear is her complaining about co workers and equipment not working appropriately, who should be at work driving from Conyers, how one of the young men was new and wasn’t listening to her! She had 4 people working and it took over 30 minutes for a sandwich. I sat and watched how uncomfortable the patrons were while patiently waiting for their food as well. After not being able to wait any longer I kindly asked for a refund bc I had waited way too which she rudely said “you only been waiting 20 minutes and she tried to put my refund on a card which I informed her if she looked at my receipt it clearly show I paid with cash. After going back and forth rudely she gave me my money back and as I walked out she stated “ I hate customers like that” this place used to always be my favorite sandwich place and has consistently gone down in customer service. FYI I went straight to Jersey Mike’s warm welcoming and proficient customer service and was busier and received my food within 10 minutes.. Horrible experience ever.
