Pulling the Pros Sport Cards — Local services in Newport

The family and I love this store, the owners and employee. They are very helpful and honest. I have personally seen a child go in there with a high priced card, not really knowing what they have, and they told the child what the card is worth what they would offer for store credit and trade in. As they told the child they suggest he holds onto the card. They do their research and use the same tools that are available to the public to get their pricing. Prices go up and down. They are not fortune tellers they give you what they have in front of them at the time. They are honest and run a very friendly, fun, HONEST business. One more example I have for those who doubt, we bought Pokémon from them then went to Walmart guess what one of the Pokémon items was cheaper by almost $6 from them while the other item cost $4 more from them. I can’t tell you that they paid more or less then Walmart did for their stuff but what I can tell you is I still walked out of pulling pros saving $2 dollars then if I were to have gone to Walmart to purchase both items. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I’ve lived in Oregon for about 9 years now and Pulling The Pros is by far my favorite trading card store that I’ve discovered. I live in Albany but I make a point to visit Newport every 1-3 months just to give them my support because of how awesome they are. As others have mentioned this place is small and can get packed pretty fast but man are they MIGHTY!! They always have grails in great condition and fire product stocked at great prices. They are very professional, transparent and beyond kind to their customers which makes it very easy to have personal connections with them. The owners have even went out of their way to help me get closer to completing personal sets that I am collecting which in my opinion makes every other place I’ve been to obsolete. This line of business is harder than people may think and like anything that’s worth it, it comes with great risk & Pulling The Pros does the damn thing!!! 100/10...

Honestly, not bad. If you are looking for football cards, and not football boxes, I would recommend this place. I would also rate this by far the best sportscard place on the entire northern Oregon Coast. They have good variety of teams, for good prices too. The lady seemed more than knowledgeable and was friendly too. Compared to Cards and Comics 101 and Sportscards 101, this is a much better place, with a bigger selection and better prices. My only complaints are really the small selection of football boxes and the size of the store (not a good place for people with claustrophobia). Either way most definitely earns a four...
