Claire's — Local services in Niles Township

I came here to return some body jewelry (within the boundaries of their return policy) and was given a terrible experience by Cynthia. She refused to honor the return policy on the Claire’s website and wouldn’t take the items back except in the form of store credit which is ridiculous and I did not accept.

Edit: I later called Claire’s customer service 800 number, they approved the return, and forced this store to honor the return and put the refund back onto my credit card. When I went back to the store to do the return after getting approval from corporate, Cynthia sure wasn’t happy about it, but I was! Worst manager to ever work in any store. I don’t know how she was ever allowed to be hired in this position. I was in a rush and the store was packed. I needed an answer to a quick question and the manager told me she wouldn’t talk to me because of my attitude. I worked in customer service for years! Not every customer is going to be happy go lucky and as a manager you slap a smile on your face and help the customer to the best to of your ability. This horrible woman refused to talk to me. She should be fired. In addition, the place is a mess and dirty. I’ll never go to this location again and I don’t recommend anyone else...

Closed store early on 9/30/23 Listed 8pm like the rest of the mall but was closed at 7:15pm Door locked lights shut employee was still inside I knocked called but she didnt bother looking or answering I had to return earrings that broke off within 4 days of purchase I went this morning same girl was there I asked her what time they close Saturdays she said 8pm rudely then I asked the manager who said its listed wrong on our webpage we close at 7 on Saturdays.
