DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Noblesville

I wish I could leave 0 stars because that's truly what your shoe department, if you can even call it that, deserves. I went two separate times, once alone and once with family, and both times I was genuinely appalled at the lack of basic human skills. All of the workers, which were far too many for a small shoe department, were just standing around and never even asked if I needed assistance and even ignored me when I spoke directly to them. All of the workers were underage teenage boys who were whispering and talking very loudly about me within my earshot. Yesterday I went with my mother and she was not approached by a single worker, and when she asked for help the worker rolled his eyes and was bothered by her asking him to do his job. Now, let me talk about the "head of the shoe department", or whatever title you gave him, Austin. My mother deliberately tried to speak to him while he was "arranging shoes" and he actually turned around and walked away. She was absolutely appalled that someone, but especially a manager, would have those customer service skills. He actually hid from me in the back and wouldn't come out when I went there alone. I would never patron this establishment again and quite frankly I would do anything I can to get that shoe manager fired. Someone that young with that lack of social skills should never be the head of anything, or hold a job like that in general. I have never felt more uncomfortable in a company in my entire life and I would never step foot in there again. I have scrolled through the entire page and saw several comments about this Austin manager being horrible. I have had two experiences with him, and I am personally embarrassed for Dick's. I would say that anyone who comes into your store to buy shoes would have the same experience, and some staff changes may be in need. I went into Dicks Sporting goods at Hamilton Town Center around 25 minutes before closing time. I went into purchase equipment, while some other kids were playing around with the fitness equipment. The store manager came over and very rudely told me, and the other kids to, and I quote "Get the f* out of my store! You 'aint' gonna tear it up!". I went up to him and gently said "Sir, I am just looking at your tennis equipment, which I clearly had the money ready for, and he proceeded to say "I don't give a s, get the f** out of my store" It was a very disappointing service considering I was at one of my former favorite malls, Hamilton Town Center. I am deeply disappointing and I would not recommend this store to anyone who is looking to buy their equipment. Infact, I would redirect them to another store. Once again, I've had a great time at Dicks, and it was my main place to shop for sporting equipment. A previous time, I watched kids ride around on unpurchased bikes, and never had an issue, but to be spoken to like that for touching a punching bag, is an absolute dissapointment. I will definitely take further action to have this "store manager". His name is Store Manager for a reason. He is there to set a role model to the employees that are working there, and he definitely did not show role modelness at all to the other employees. Worst store I have ever been this ppl have trust issues I mean they will trit u like u are going to steal from them asking you witch door u came in and telling you.. u can try the shoes but one at a time are u serious I never ask him for both I just needed one to try it that's all I felt like I was a criminal awful way of taking care of customers specially those that are buying top expensive shoes that dude Austin.B is one of the guys that gave me and my family a very nasty experience I spend 15 min in that store and we left never coming back. This dude even gave me the store info and his name like he dosen't give a darn about what i think or i will say very confident so it means they are trained to be this awful that's only this store Castleton mall they all great ppl no problems at all we go there every time but Noblesville is the worst store I ever visited.
