DXL Big + Tall — Local services in North Charleston

Very unpleasant and unprofessional experience with the store clerk. This is worst my husband has encountered here at this location. The clerk never greeted him, never asked if he needed assistance or anything. The clerk was rude and closed the store before closing hours listed on their website. My husband made a purchase brought his purchase out to me in the parking lot immediately I went up to store to return it. The clerk stood at the counter (time now is 6:39pm) and completely ignored my presence at the door. Please note the website indicated a closing time of 7 pm. I stood at the door and called the number listed on the receipt about an average of 7 times before she even would look up at me. I then shook my cell phone to motion for her to answer the phone. When she answered she was rude, condescending and sarcastic. I advised her to find another job if she didn’t enjoy this one. I also told her I would be complaining to her corporate office in the morning. I will not patronize a business where I am disrespected...

DXL is one of my favorite places to shop, because they have a wonderful selection of men's clothing that look and feel great on me, however today I had an unpleasant experience at this location. I am used to the great customer service that I always receive when I am in a DXL store unfortunately the clerk that I came into contact with this afternoon was rude and unprofessional in her behavior towards me. She addressed me with her back turned. When I asked her for her name she replied " you don't need to know my name " I told her that I do take time to fill out reviews and that I will definitely be doing one this afternoon. First of all, EXCELLENT SELECTION! I am 6’6 and 350lbs and it can be hard to find clothing that fits well. DXL has become my go to. They carry the brands I love (Vineyard Vines, Ralph Lauren, and Brooks Brothers all of which I cannot get my size at their respective stores anymore). The staff member at this specific location was excellent. I believe her name was Theresa. She was attentive, kind, helpful, passionate. All the words you’d look for in someone. It appeared to be that she was the only person running the store at the time. Even with this being the case she tended to every customer in that store, and provided one on one experiences for each of them.
