I bought a 4lb Swad moong dal few months and noticed at home that it had a very strong, foul smell even after cooking the dal. The next time I was there, I grabbed another pack of the same moong dal and relayed my complaint to the young cashier. She called her senior, a woman I have seen working there for years. She tells me without hesitation that I had apparently "bought this on sale". What does that mean? Do you mean you sell bad quality/ expired items on sale? (Because their in-house products almost never have an expiry date). Also, we had NOT bought it on sale but her audacity to say that as though it is completely acceptable to fall sick if you bought an item on sale is in my opinion the worst response she could have given me. That's not all, she insisted I'll get a replacement only when I bring the foul package leftover. I have been a customer here for almost 10 years. Does she think I'm going to go through this effort and make up a lie for $4? If noone complained, these folks would feel even more confident to sell you shady products. Like any business, you know the true colors of a company only when...
Read moreThe location is great. Parking is ample. The stock is usually always well stocked. I had by mistake picked Henna from this location of the Nupur brand. The brands are not 2024 or even late 2023 manufactured. I didn't use both packets as my colorist doesn't want me to use any of these brands...when I took it back unopened the rude woman manager first refused that the product was from her location. When I insisted that I only get my Indian grocery products from her then she lied on the manufacturing date. I went to the Henna isle and started looking at all the dates...they are all old products from 2022 onwards...she brought her store manager, and he was willing to exchange the product after I showed him the dates of all hair products and their manufacturing date. This is something one has to be aware of as this store consistently hides their old products and then makes excuses. Thanks to the store manager....

The store was clean and well-organized, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and answering any questions I had.

I also appreciated the selection of fresh produce they had on offer, including a variety of exotic fruits and vegetables.
