Munay Peruvian Food — Restaurant in Norwalk

Yesterday I was here for the second time. On 4/15/24 it was my second time, and we went to celebrate my friend's birthday and my friend ordered wine and the MANAGER didn't know anything about good white wine and brought a different type of wine to see which one he liked and without changing the cup. After taking the order, he left the restaurant. I had never seen the waiter before, and I had to ask for water twice. I ended up picking up the plates and putting it on the counter before dessert. The worse peruvian food i had ever had.. I eat peruvian food often. Tried munay for the first time a year ago for take out. Food was poorly made and overpriced. This week i had some family visiting from out of the country and they wanted peruvian and choose this place based on the 4.2 star average reviews. When this place opened it was very good. We get the Lomo Saltado every time. Be warned, they give you very little steak. However, over the years it has gone down in quality to the point that I now feel compelled to leave a negative review and warn others. The past few times we have gotten the Lomo Saltado, it has been VERY dry, and we literally counted 7 pieces of meat. 7!. I just paid $20 for 7 strips of meat with no flavor, and a bunch of rice and fries. Please go elsewhere if your looking for a good, flavorful, lomo.
