I've known about Cartridge World for many years prior to this review. Not wanting to add to landfills I've recycled numerous laser toner and ink cartridges with Greg who very graciously accepts them. In past office settings, I'm the go to guy if there are problems with the printer(s) and printing. So I took a chance on purchasing a second hand Epson Stylus Photo 1400 thinking I could get the unit for photo printing. I have a very good friend and excellent photographer who was a Marketing and Sales manager for Epson. His demo units made gorgeous prints from a portfolio of company demonstration and personal digital images. After running many nozzle cleanings, alignments and test patterns, I was unsuccessful in getting the 1400 to print properly. Maintenance utilities consumes lots of ink and resulted in several empty ink cartridges. When these were returned to Greg we started talking about the printer they came from and my attempts to revive the 1400. Greg advised me to speak with his partner Al. Brought the printer in for Al to work on who was successful in reviving the Epson Stylus Photo 1400 and producing beautiful photo prints. Replacement ink cartridges work perfectly and results are not discernible from OEM cartridges. Norwalk Cartridge World is highly recommended and THE place for all your printers and printer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have a LaserJet printer that was passed down from my father. It is a beast of a machine and a workhorse, however, the toner is over $400 to replace all four cartridges by Canon. Even though I have to replace it every couple of years, it is a large cost to swallow when the time comes. A few weeks ago I had to replace one cartridge and I couldn't fathom paying $140 for one cartridge. My boyfriend suggested Cartridge World...I itially was skeptical about an off-brand products from OTHER vendors because of rumors that I bought into. I am on a very tight budget and I am so grateful that I heeded the advice of my boyfriend. I explained my situation to Greg took everything into consideration. I saved almost $90 on ONE cartridge!!! Greg took so much time on the phone with me and when I was in the store explaining his product. He also made suggestions for how I use my printer and how I can extend the life of it. I am forever grateful for their time and service. Excellent customer service and honesty is what keeps people loyal and return customers. Thank...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePulled a vintage still boxed Canon iPixma 5000 in mint condition out of the closet to print a very large document with color images that needed to be mailed the following morning. The ink cartridges were bone dry. Scrambled to Staples and was told, "they don't make those anymore." Googled ink cartridges in my area and Cartridge World appears first hit. I called and Greg picks up. He kept his store open for an hour past closing and waited for me to make it though I95 traffic during rush hour. Sure enough he had all 5 cartridges I needed to get up and running. All reasonably priced and much less than purchasing online or printing at a local national color printing rip-off outfit that begins with an F and ends in an X. Popped the ink cartridges in their respective trays and the printer was new again. You just don't get any better service than this these days. For shopping ink/toner needs, I'll be heading back to Cartridge World in Norwalk without hesitation. Many thanks...
