Cinema 502 — Local services in Ogden

We rented this charming little theater on 25th Street for my daughter’s 16th birthday, and it was an absolute hit. The space is full of character (loved the muppet critics looking over us!) and the perfect aesthetic for a fun, memorable night. Communication with the team was easy and incredibly responsive, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish.

A couple of tips for future renters: It was a little warm inside (but it was nearly 100 degrees outside), so you may want to bring an extra fan or two just in case (or check ahead to see what’s available — there may have been fans and I just missed them!). Also, if you're hosting a weekend event with teens or kids in the evening, keep in mind that parking can be tricky, and 25th Street has a more adult vibe after dark. Nothing that takes away from the experience — just something to be aware of.

Overall, I highly recommend this space. It made for a magical night (my daughter said it was her best birthday yet!), and we’re so glad...

"Cinema 502 is AMAZING!!! Their customer service, engaged with mainly through text message, was painless, courteous, and all around surprisingly good - when I did have to talk to the owners over the phone, they were extremely patient and helpful. There were extraneous circumstances and they went above and beyond for us at no extra charge.

The venue itself surpassed expectations. The theater was clean, well kept, and perfectly suited for my needs. The included instructional video made set-up a snap. We were responsible for our own cleanup but everything necessary for that was provided.

We celebrated turning 40 in style watching Kung Fu Hustle and then playing fighting games like Marvel VS Capcom 2 on the big screen with our own video games was a special treat.

Booked for the Superbowl and it was a great time! Website advertised a capacity of 27 people; we sat 20 very comfortably. Screen is a perfect size for the venue. Love that you can bring your own drinks and food. There is a fridge up front in the lobby to store drinks and whatnot if you decide to do a potluck.

Owners were great about communicating with us throughout the booking process. I had a lot of questions and they were always prompt in their response. I really felt like they cared about our experience and were willing to help us work out the kinks ahead of time.
