I recently bumbled into University Mall and tripped over a shiny new kiosk called “Light Em Up Orem” from Olight. The 10-year-old gremlin inside this creaky, almost half-century-old meat sack (me) gawked like a kid at a candy store, drooling over a dazzling array of gizmos that basically let you fist-bump the sun itself. As I ogled these sleek, shiny toys, my wallet whimpered, knowing it was about to get a lot skinnier than a supermodel on a juice cleanse. The guy running this glorious light-show circus, Dan, is a total enigma—think Paul Bunyan with a side of “might wrestle a bear for fun.” But don’t let his grizzly vibe scare you off; this dude’s got a heart of gold and the patience of a saint. He let me fondle and fiddle with every single one of his glorious gadgets while he waxed poetic about their powers. I swear, this man’s passion for these handheld fire-sticks could make a grown man weep—they’re like Picasso paintings, but, you know, useful. Then, my eyeballs latched onto the Arkfeld Pro, a gorgeous orange aluminum beast that screamed, “I’m too sexy for your pocket.” This bad boy’s got a white light with four brightness levels (because who doesn’t love options?) and a strobe mode for when you wanna disco with the deer. Flip the indicator to the center position, and bam—a green laser joins the party, perfect for pretending you’re a sci-fi villain. Oh, and it’s got a UV blacklight, too, which I’ll totally use to hunt scorpions in the Nevada desert or play “is this hotel bed secretly a crime scene?” on my next trip. The Arkfeld Pro’s got a pocket clip that grips tighter than my grandma at a bingo hall, and four little green LEDs that flash its battery life like a tiny traffic light. Plus, there’s a magnetic charge port on the bottom—great for a quick juice-up or slapping it onto your fridge for some hands-free kitchen raves. I haven’t been this jazzed to revisit an Orem hotspot since the tragic fall of “Chuck-O-Rama”—RIP, you glorious buffet legend. “Light Em Up Orem” is my new obsession, and I’m ready to blow my paycheck on more glowy goodness. Send help (and maybe a...
Read moreThe Olight iMini2 rechargeable light has totally won me over! It's small enough to clip onto my keychain, but don’t let its size fool you — this thing is seriously bright. The fact that it’s USB rechargeable is a game-changer. No more hunting for tiny batteries! Plus, the magnet at the end is super handy. When I need both hands free, I just stick it to something metal, and boom, instant light. I loved mine so much that I gifted a few of these for Christmas, and I think the people I gave them to love them just as much as I do! It’s so convenient to have something small and not bulky but still packs a strong, bright light. Definitely...
Read moreOk so first and for most, I love these products, in my line of work I use a lot of flashlights, and in my time away from work I use them even more. I haven't been able to find a local store that carried O-Lights until I found this one in Orem!!! This is so awesome, you can go up, see the lights, touch them and see how high quality they really are. My favorite part is the price, with the price you pay for the product you get, you are winning for sure. If you have questions they are quick to answer and so friendly. I am 100% in love...
