Dumb customer service by cashier. Rude and no willingness to help.
Came here to return a white polo shirt I bought from Camarillo outlet LA. It was labeled as menâs large but fit like a small. Turns out I was sold a womenâs shirt. Easy mistake â but the way I was treated trying to return it? Totally unacceptable.
The cashier (said her name was Rachel, but receipt says Rocio) clearly had no interest in helping. She couldnât even be bothered to check my correct receipt until I insisted. She acted like I was lying or trying to scam the store, dismissing me just because there was no price tag â even though I had receipts. Zero effort to match item codes. Zero initiative. And when I pointed out that the sizing was clearly off, she gave me a sarcastic âthey both say largeâ like I was an idiot.
I had to basically force her to call the manager. The manager figured out in two minutes what she couldnât in twenty â that it was a completely different item category. The return went through once he got involved, no thanks to her.
Honestly, the attitude, the laziness, the way I was made to feel like a problem instead of a customer? Not okay. Iâve spent over a grand this month alone at Ralph Lauren this month and got treated like I was making the whole thing up. If I hadnât pushed, nothing wouldâve happened.

   Read moreSuch an amazing shopping experience with min 15 minutes of closing. I walked in and had no idea when the outlet would be closing I had thought 9pm ⌠turns out it was 8pm. I confirm with an associate and start to make my way to the exit a bit defeated and 2 associates cheerfully say, well youâre already here take a look around. They immediately raise my spirits. I honestly havenât been shopping in a mall in over 2 years. Pretty much just online! I found some shorts in my quick browsing and make my way to the fitting room! I was politely greeted and escorted to a fitting a room. I then make my way to the register and ask the associate if there were any additional savings and he in forms of a method while complimenting my purchase. I ask about a shirt and he happily escorts me to a section a quickly look with no success but was very happy with the effort. After completing my purchase I make my way to the exit and I am bid a farewell from the original associate, while she celebrated the fact that I was able to make a purchase! Both times I've been there I have picked out over $300 worth of clothes and both times I have waited in line for over 20 minutes before deciding to put back the clothes and leave. I was in the store this past Sunday and was in line for 25 minutes and only 5 customers had gone up and checked out over that time. There was about 20/25 people in line. That is absurd. I'm not sure if it's a lack of training or the focus is on taking as long as possible but literally both times I've been in there they lost my sale due to taking so long. $500+. Do something about it guys. The clothing they have there is GREAT. It's not the typical outlet junk (which is usually just the brand logo licensed out to cheaper low quality factories).
