I ordered dinner today from here for my husband and I. We have a busy day and early morning tomorrow. The curbside pickup was horrible. The staff for LongHorn Steakhouse took my order to the wrong car although the receipt said we were parked in a red SUV in parking space #6. The employee who we later learned had just left the liquor store next door to TacoBell in the shopping plaza bought 4 bottles of “FireBall” and consumed some prior to coming to Long Horns where she works. The owner of the liquor store who came over to order food while we were in the mist of speaking with the manager, said “she works here, she just left my store and was drinking alcohol not too long ago”. Now on the job, passing off the wrong orders and had the nerve to get an attitude saying, “look I wasn’t even on the clock when I handed your bag to the wrong person”! I really think the manager and the lady working at the bar saved this whole process by being so nice and throwing the other food out, giving us new fresh food, and some free perks with dessert. I appreciate them both and the great customer service. I do believe it’s a shame that so many employees do not take pride or value in their work or understand their negative behavior impacts business. It leaves a bad impression for sure. There are several steak houses and the food is not free so please show respect when someone voices a concern and take accountability when you make a mistake. Instead of taking on a hostile approach look at what you could of did differently, slow down, think, look at the receipt, and ensure you are at the correct parking space. More importantly, apologize instead of yelling at a customer. Because all you will be met with is the same energy you give! I won’t let this one bad experience stop me from having other great experiences. Again, I am grateful to the manager and the sweet lady at the bar with her short cut and cute glasses. She was so kind and showed that the behavior from the other employee does not represent LongHorn as a...

We had the most amazing opportunity to have our dinner managed by a server named Kristy.
We were promptly seated, once the manager decreed there were enough servers. Mind you there were over 20-tables available.
We were warmly welcomed by a jittery waitress who was unable to remember why she brought a plate of sliced lemons (she felt we asked for them but in fairness, we did ask for no ice in one water and that in of itself can be very confusing).
Kristy said she would be right back and she was true to her word after my wife relocated her 10-minutes later.
We did ask if we should leave, and in a textbook customer service move that I almost applauded, Kristy says, well that’s up to you. Management should take notice of how deftly she handled the crisis. Once they are not afraid to seat people that is.
My wife’s salad came with the dressing on the side as we asked, mind you we should have clarified for it to not be on the actual top side of the salad. Again, confusing when your hands are making rapidly, nearly uncontrollable movements.
My dinner salad arrived as I requested with my dinner, but then they brought it back to actually wait for my dinner to be cooked. In fairness, Kristy was probably securing some more stimulation as now she couldn’t hold still for more than a second, and I am sure she passed the urine test with flying colors.
When my dinner and salad arrived, just as I requested the dressing was on the side. Although dressing was already on top of the salad, too. (Where else can you find such quality care?)
Needless to say, Longhorn serves a great meal and our entrees were excellent. But the in between part of being seated, orders taken, correctly delivering the food, and not having Shakes the Waitress needs attention of someone above the current middle management capability.
(If you arrive,...
Read moreI come to this location a lot, I mean once a week. Today I came in with my family for my birthday. Got sat quickly, and a server came right away, so far so good. We get our drinks and placed our order. Now, I tell all my friends to go to longhorn around them for the steak. Never dissatisfied with the food or staff. We all got our salads and loved it as usual. Then our delicious steak arrived or so I thought.
Mind you a few of us are still eating our salad, and my mother looks at me and ask me to taste her steak. Me thinking, "what could possibly be wrong with the steak. When I tell you, I have never tasted something so putrid or rotten in my life, I mean it. I didn't even have to chew, once on my tongue, I spat it back out. I cut a piece of my steak, same thing. I have another person check their steak and without hesitation, same response. At this point the server came and we told her about it.
The manager came out (jJake) and began to ask about the situation. At first he seemed like he didn't believe all 4 of our steaks would be bad. He took one steak in the back and came back with the same look as we all had. He informed us the steak or something was bad and took it off our bill.
Mind you, we still had to pay for all of our sodas and the appetizer. Now, I'm not sure how Longhorns policy is on something like this, but had been my restaurant, there wouldn't have been any bill, and as a matter of fact a few comp cards would have at least been offered.
As I said. I'm not sure about their policy. I'm just stating what I would have done with...
