Burlington — Local services in Palmdale

As this is a new store, I expected some associates to take a little more time on transactions but never expected them to just stand there as they did not know how to arrange my layaway pick up. She was upset that I did not have my receipt but other Burlington stores never made it a requirement that I have it which is very nice. However, I did have to remind her that I do not in fact need it and don’t usually have it. In attempt to let her know I have already called to inform the store of my pick up she kept cutting me off to give me information I already had which was “if you would have called this wouldn’t be a problem”. She did not give me the chance to let her know my layaway was already on the shelf behind her. She was completely inapproachable and I decided not to ask about a return and exchange that I initially came to the store for. She was very rude and unwelcoming and clearly confused about her job. For this being a new store, I’m pretty shocked that employees are already displaying such a poor work ethic. I am a faithful Burlington shopper and always will be but I will be traveling the extra mile to go to another store rather than our local store. This store needs some customer service initiatives and team building efforts. Other than that, I am impressed with the staff on the floor and the organization and cleanliness of this...

First time ever going to a Burlington and will probably be the last.

The aisles were small that only one average size person can fit through. The place was overwhelming in the sense that it wasn't that messy but still felt overwhelmed due to the fact that you felt rushed while in the aisle because other shoppers are trying to get in. Plus, it felt like a race/competition to find something before someone else did.

Overall, they had a lot of baby clothes if you're seeking that. As for women's clothing and shoes, I'd rather go to Ross.

There's plenty of parking but not enough shopping carts.

The shopping cart situation is crazy because I went around and was about to retrieve one and another lady started walking towards it as well and got confrontational. I just let her get it because I don't have time for that kind of people.

Just left the Lancaster location and I felt so humiliated. My friend and I get there I’m pushing her daughter in one of the carts and I grabbed an adidas packet of socks for men I walked around looking around bc it’s a new store and I felt the loss prevention chick following me around. I leave the socks at the toy section bc I decided not to buy it and as we were walking out she asked my friend where are the socks my friend was like what socks she asked me can you show me where the socks you had are I responded yea I can I took her to the toy section and yup the socks were right there where I had left them. And she had the audacity to say she wasn’t accusing me of stealing like bih yes you were trying to embarrass me but who looks dumb now you. Maybe you should learn how to actually do your job and stop following ppl around smh never going...
