First: there's no tangible menu. Just a QR code at the table. The code doesn't take you to a website. It takes you to a PDF. I don't want to automatically download a PDF. I just want a physical, real-life menu. I don't want to scroll and pinch zoom on my own phone. I just want a menu either in my hands or above the front counter. I'm with the boomers on this. Just print out a menu.
Second: very short-staffed. If you're this understaffed, just close the place. Or manage better. Hire more workers. Can't afford to? Close. After ordering lunch for 3 people, it was over FIFTY minutes before we were served our plates. We watched about 4 different groups of customers walk in to take out, and they were all served their orders before us. No, it didn't appear that they had ordered ahead of time.
Third: the server wasn't friendly or even cordial. He seemed annoyed that we were there. When he finally brought our food, there were no table settings/silverware/napkins/etc., so I asked, and he bluntly said, "yeah, I'm bringing them."
Fourth: the temperature of the restaurant. Please, if it's over 100° outside, turn on your air conditioner and close the front door.
Fifth: prices. With a wait time of 50+ minutes, rude service, a QR code menu, sweltering heat, and this being lunch for only 3, maybe it shouldn't cost over $75 for mediocre food. Though the chicken was very tender, the enchiladas were a bit too salty, as was the server.
They have a lot to fix. Especially because just a couple hundred feet away is Mi Ranchito, where similar food costs a bit less, the air conditioning is on, there are plenty of workers, service is fast, and there's a giant menu above the...
