DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Palmdale

The selection is pretty varied but the prices are pretty high on most items. The customer service sucked minus one older gentlemen that helped me get a clothing item off of a mannequin because it was the last they had in the size I needed, he was kind & helpful. We wanted to try things on and were looking around for someone to let us into the fitting room when an employee (younger brunette dude) walked passed looked at us and kept going, didn't bother to ask if we needed help. We had to use the call button to get service and that same young employee walks by again talking on his headset and ignoring us, it wasn't until I pushed the 2nd call button there that he comes to help us (irritably) letting the other employees know, over his headset, that he's "got both call buttons". MANY of the items that we looked at didn't even have a price but then multiples of the same exact items had their price listed multiple times (on the shelf not the individual item) just poorly organized and labeled store in general. The sales associates at this store is beyond rude. They act like the do not understand what you are asking. They females huff and puff if you have a preference over another brand. They manager took a long to address an issue and appears to be uninterested like his job is locked in. They have customer pickup confused with parking un safe in the red in the driveway to the mall. If you are uncomfortable with parking in the red they get upset and if you do park in the red you block other customers from traveling safely and legally. I was met with attitudes because the ladies at the front cash register did not have on name tags on like the other employees and I asked their names and they became verbally aggressive which was uncalled for… I will reconsider this location in the future because of the attitudes for no reason by the associates. So they are good as far as the sporting goods part & any camping necessities you need, but if you go to exchange an item you paid cash for an you just happen to not have the receipt or tag, you will pay more than what you originally paid for it. They said they have no way to verify how much you paid for it in the first place (as if the price has changed in a few days) when your simply exchanging for the same thing in a different size). So that was very frustrating. You already spend quite a bit of money as it is, now your spending more because you just don’t want to have what you got be a waste. I think they should definitely honor their price as is, and not expect more. Also, it seems like they hire a bunch of kids who are more interested in what they look like & making friends then...
