The only reason why I am giving this 2 stars is because I genuinely like the clothing at Ann Taylor. My advice, however, would be to try a different location. I went in looking for clothing for a funeral and tried a few things on. I was a little annoyed because i needed different sizes and no one was near the fitting room or even close enough to help me. I got dressed and went and got other sizes and as i was heading to the fitting room i explained to an employee that I was looking for clothing for a funeral and had tried things on but no one was there previously to help me get other sizes. She said "sorry about that!" And let me into a fitting room. I tried stuff on and once again no one was even close enough to hear me when i walked outside to look for an employee to help me. Now i understand if the store was busy because of the 50% off sale but there was NO ONE in the store. I got dressed again and decided to go somewhere else (even though they had plenty of items i probably could have chosen from). As i stopped to look at a dress on the way out, the same employee asked me how I did in the fitting room. I told her "i really needed other sizes and again no one was there to help me." She literally laughed in my face like it was a joke. When she realized I wasnt laughing she asked me if I wanted to try again. Normally I have more patience but clearly I am shopping for a funeral and wasnt going to be playful? I told her Ive honestly just had enough and left. I am upset enough to write a review because you would think customer service would be better in a mall with competition EVERYWHERE. It makes sense that everything is 50% off because the customer service is this bad. I went to White House Black Market and gladly paid full price for items I was happy with. The sales associates there were helpful and catered to everything I needed. Maybe everyone that works here should head over there for a lesson in customer service. Even when employees werent busy there they were cleaning and staying productive. Disappointed, will try a different store...
Read moreThe Ann Taylor store is beautiful - yet not one time but two different times I shopped there the employees inside looked at me, and spoke to me as if I was lost & I didn't let them stop me from buying anything. My best advice to Ann Taylor store employees across the country is that they should treat people with respect and kindness along with proper professionalism as well. It is an issue I feel the corporate office should handle, and take immediate action on. I don't go to Ann Taylor often. I'm a positive individual & Ann Taylor should hire people who are going to be a significant asset to the company. Not make the Ann Taylor...
Read moreWhy are these ladies so snooty & mean? I spend thousands of dollars at AT online (I hate shopping in person, I just don't like being approached & HOUNDED which they do here ALOT). When I go in, and they ask is they can help I say no thank you and do my thing. But Boy are they rude when I return my online purchases there. (A. T. CHARGES you return shipping if you want to send your returns back, no matter how much you've spent) so. I do my returns there. The ladies apparently don't like that.. Oh well.. Maybe they can convince A. T. Not charge for...
