Cake Boutique — Local services in Park City

Incredibly unfriendly staff. Will outright ignore you as you enter, browse, and exits. It’s bizarre. My client wanted me to pick some things up here as they’ve got a great selection of brands but opted to pickup from Neiman Marcus instead. Bummer because shopping local is technically more effort but well worth it in experience at most places because of the personal attention you expect to receive (not the case at Cake).

In reading the other reviews I can’t help but notice I am not an outlier—it’s plain to see by other people’s reviews and the feigned shock expressed by the owner in response to these negative reviews that bad behavior is totally tolerated and (maybe even encouraged to promote exclusivity?). Every time we visit park city I typically stop in as they carry a lot of brands I like. However tonight will be my absolute last visit to this place. The sales girl Elle was so rude and snobby I really was in shock. I asked her the difference between two leather pants were and she said they basically were the same. I walked the entire store with a handful of clothes and not once did she take them from me. Then when I was trying on she never checked in for sizes. When I came out to leave she asked me if I found anything while sitting behind the counter texting...

Very frustrating experience. States online they close at 7:00pm. I arrive at 6:50 to get one product and both doors were locked. 2 employees were inside so I called. They answered and said they were ABOUT to close. I told them I was waiting outside and she giggled and said they were closed. All before 7:00pm. Very annoying considering this is on Main Street and you have to deal with traffic and parking to shop here. I will not be back due to the customer service...
