I can summarize the entire experience with one sentence: Super over-priced relative to the quality and quantity of the food.
Ala carte rice with curries? I have never before been to an Asian restaurant where the rice was not included with the entree... Charge extra for brown or black rice? Sure? But Ala-carte white rice...? With a Currie dish? Seriously? When it's not even made clear on the menu that this is the case?
Calamari was very tender but rather bland. The "dumplings" were like a mating ritual between a meat-ball and a matza-ball gone bad. You would think there is enough genetic diversity there for a healthy offspring, but, combining Jewish and Italian into Thai simply does not work. Not to mention that a meatza ball is not something that anyone would ever expect to be called a dumpling...
Tuna tar-tar was genuinely good, as was the Thom Kha soup. But the Panang Currie, especially at $25 (+ extra for rice) was very disappointing. It's one of my favorite dishes at a local place near work where a lunch portion is $7/8 and is much better than Bangkok's. The portion was small, the beef was tough, and there must have been a broccoli shortage that day.
The total bill for me and my 12 year-old son, two people, without any drinks, ended up being $87 (with tip).... This is good sushi money for Thai food. And when was the last time you went to a Thai restaurant, ordered a total of 5 dishes (soup, three appetizers, and one entree) for 2 people, and had no left-overs?
Super over-priced relative to the quality and quantity...
Read moreLet me first preface by saying I’m not a foodie and pretty easy to please. Came here with my 9yo because other Google reviews said it was family friendly. Restaurant policies were very restrictive and not accommodating at all. Like, not at all. The server did his best but it’s like the kitchen comes before the customer. They didn’t give us a kids menu, has to ask for one. And the options are not kid friendly. We asked to substitute noodles or get noodles as a side and they said no. We’d have to purchase a $25+ dish and ask for just noodles to get noodles. Which is a pretty common request at every Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. The chicken satay was awful. Some of the sticks were overcooked and others were rubbery- my kid will usually eat 3-4 sticks no problem, but only ate 1. The calamari was just rings and came out cold and breading wasn’t crunchy at all and portion size was tiny for the price. But then portion sizes for the main entrees were huge but the food was meh. Compensating for poor quality with quantity. Doesn’t seem like they’re concerned with repeat customers, so they get away with this. Not sure why this place even has a 3.9 rating. And there’s a surcharge at the end if you try to use a credit card. Will never come back here but sharing my experience for others looking at coming...

It was decent food. But waaaaay over priced. I paid $32 for a meal that should have been $12. You would think that paying a premium price for non-gourmet food would render you excellent service. Wrong!
The service was horrible. I watched the majority of the waiting and hosting staff just sit around. Even though we went during the Sundance film festival, it was on a Tuesday night and it was pretty desolate there. It was not busy. Yet, it took an hour for our food to come.
However, we saw other people sitting around us only wait 15 minutes for their food. And to make matters worse, we had a reservation. But I guess that doesn't make you a priority in their dank, stuffy basement "restaurant".
I paid $4 just for a cup of crappy Diet Coke, and the waiter did not refill my drink once. He didn't offer. He didn't ask once during the hour and a half we were sitting there. They are supposed to be free refills.
I will not be returning to this restaurant. Not in Park City nor any other location. When I called the manager, worried about an extra $4.40 service charge, he was NOT very friendly in explaining the charge nor apologetic of the horrible service that I informed him about. He wasn't helpful or kind at all. Just a smug little man with a...
