Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality crystal store. Impeccable selection of rocks, minerals, stones, friendly atmosphere, clean, well lit, and organized environment with great displays. Ever since moving to the area, I've been on the look out for a good crystal store to make my purchases. Since arriving, I've visited numerous stores throughout Maricopa county, all the way from Chandler to Anthem and hadn't found one that was a strong match - friendly, well organized, and had authentic stones, until now. I kept seeing this store front on my way to work each day and finally stopped in on Friday and I'm so glad I did. Walking in, I was amazed by the wall to wall selection they had. There were several rocks, minerals, stones, crystals, that I had only ever read about before and hadn't seen in person prior to this. Pricing on various items is excellent and the stones here appeared to often be on the slightly larger side, compared to what you'd get for the same dollar amount at other local stores I'd been to. They have both raw and polished/tumbled versions of many stones, all of which appeared to be authentic, which is a huge selling point to me. So many of the other stores I've visited over the years have had clear issues with authenticity, with some or all of their "stones" being resin knock offs, but that was not the case here, which I appreciated. At check out, the delicate Kyanite I purchased was wrapped up for safety which I was super happy about. I've never had a store wrap up the more delicate stones and such before, so I was beyond impressed when they acknowledged the possibility of it getting damaged in transit and took the time to do so. The stones were also placed in very nice, seasonal, decorative organza/satchet bags. My first experience and impression of Buried Treasures was a wholly positive one and I've already recommended this store to any family and friends who are into crystals and are within driving distance. I'd strongly encourage anyone who is looking for a top notch crystal, stone, and mineral shop with a superb collection of specimens, friendly service, and great store layout to visit...
Read moreI really like this crystal shop and they have beautiful items. The only thing that bothers me. Is the red headed girls that work there watch my every move like a hawk and they are completely silent when I’m in there. I understand these are small items and they have to watch people for stealing. Totally understand!! But it is so uncomfortable to be in there. I would rather give my purse for them to hold. I believe they have baskets and I use them so they can clearly see what I’m putting in my basket. I’ve easily spent over $100 both times I went but when I leave I have a yucky feeling in my stomach. I feel like I have to rush to get out of there because I do not feel wanted. In reading the reviews I haven’t seen many people say this so now I’m wondering if they are profiling me? I have found myself going to less than stellar crystal shop’s because they are nice to me and make me feel welcome. I would never steal anything especially crystals!! Why would I put bad energy out there like that? There are ways to keep an eye on someone without making them uncomfortable. It’s really sad to be treated like a criminal when you are far from that. I really don’t appreciate it and I’ve been avoiding this place since my last visit because it happened twice in a row. I smile and talk to them so I really don’t...
Read moreI’ve been coming here every year on my birthday and it’s never disappointing. Each crystal I’ve bought from this shop that is capable of having rainbows have had at least 1 rainbow (usually more). Last year I overheard a conversation between an employee and someone who wanted to sell his crystals, and the employee respectfully declined as she herself could not verify how they were sourced. That tells me all of their products are ethically sourced and carefully selected (unfortunately that’s hard to come by). The prices are fantastic — in one of the $33 mystery boxes I’ve bought, I received multiple pieces, one of which alone would normally be sold for $35+. Not to mention, their rings are size inclusive! It’s hard finding dainty rings when having size 11+ fingers but I’ve been able to try on several of their pieces with ease.
I could go on and on about this shop, but for now I’ll say that the hour+ trip there is worth...
