A great show started with the most patriotic intro I have had the privilege of watching. A a Veteran I was truly moved. The show was an intimate style setting that made it more personal for the audience. Steven really brought you into the magic with personal tales of his past. He really made each audience member feel like they were part of the magic, and honestly you were. His presentation was light hearted and fun. I highly recommend this show. If you go anywhere go here. Don't forget to say hi to David Hopperfield and give Hank a fist bump for me! Go see what I mean!! Steven is beyond AMAZING. I want to address the rumor that the place is a dump. Yes, it is in a small shopping area but it is not a dump. Is it Caesars Palace, no. But you're not paying Caesars Palace fees. We got our tickets at a price that I consider below the value of the show. If you did as well then you got a very good deal, you shouldn't complain. I found the theater glitz to be irrelevant to the show value. Regardless the place wasn't a dump, it was rather comfy and nice. Then again I didn't grow up in the best of everything so I always look at value(s) over the glamour. I felt it was a rather low insult to say the hard work of these people lead to a "dump". Like Steven said, you can't satisfy everybody. Next, the feeling you're being forced to spend money, I did not witness this. Everyone was nice and helpful there. There was never a pitch to buy snacks or anything. After the show I was presented with a card trick by the stage hand/security lead but I was a willing participant. There was no coercion to buy, but there was plenty of enthusiasm to share the joy of magic. If that is forceful sales I'll take it any day. Lastly, this is a family oriented show. That being said it is presented as so. There were no half nude girls, no curse words, no adult themes. If you read the show description it clearly says "Fun for the whole family". It's...
Read moreThe theater is run down, tiny, and dingy inside with a tiny stage and one performer on a pre-recorded track. The seating is very uncomfortable and has no arm rests. The air is very fetid, and it was so warm that during the performance, my diabetic wife began to feel ill and asked the front desk about the temperature. The front desk lady said the air was on 68 but would lower it. But by then, my wife felt too ill and we had to leave. I wrote an email requesting a refund as we missed the show due to my wife's health and heat intolerance due to her insulin. I admit I was upset when I emailed the owner, as we basically lost 89.00 for 3 tickets. Also, the show is not worth the amount they are charging. Memories Theater is only 5.00 more per ticket and has a far superior show and theater. I wrote to the owne that If I could.not be refunded, I would have no choice but to post about my negative experience. He replied, and stated that he considered my request for the refund "extortion " because I stated that I would post about our extremely negative experience. He then went on to say it was not to hot for.anyone else, how dare I insult his theater, and so on. He denied my refund even though he knew we had to leave due to my wife's health crisis and could not see the show. Even though it was subpar, we still would have tried to watch it if she had not become ill. We have been going to Pigeon Forge for over 20 years, and.Steven Best is the first establishment in the city to refuse a refund for a legitimate reason. Go to Memories Theater instead. You will...
Read moreNot what I expected for 39 dollars each adult and 19 per child. My kid fell asleep. Basic tricks in a subpar setting. The seats were so cramped and hard to see the stage. The guy was funny but NOT worth the price. I’d pay maybe ten bucks for these tickets. Very disappointing when we coulda went to comedy barn for same price.
Edit to respond: Sorry you seem triggered by an honest review. We have seen the sand trick FREE at holiday world amusement park. A handkerchief trick we’ve seen before and that same card trick at theme parks as the FREE side attractions. The price was 116, we paid 80 dollars at this “discounted” rate you speak of. Comedy Barn is 96 and more professional, not a side alleyway shopping center vibe with chairs right on top of ppl. Unfortunately, I was mislead by the 5 star reviews, hence my review. This was definitely not a 116 dollar show. I’m glad your over priced parlor tricks have worked out so well, good for u. We thought these tricks are overly done tricks. I’m the one who paid 80 dollars, drove an hr out of our way to pick up these, quote “discounted tickets” for a mediocre show, including an additional hour of time wasted watching stuff we’ve seen before. Thank god for the discount or we would have left crying instead of yawning….Enjoy the two stars, and that was being generous. Have a great day “funny guy”, maybe switch to comedy if it took you 20yrs for those tricks bc it was definitely a joke paying 80 dollars for the...
