Country Roads Axe Throwing with server Ian was an absolute blast! Ian's energy and enthusiasm for axe throwing were infectious, creating a fun and exciting atmosphere right from the start.

Ian's knowledge and expertise in axe throwing were impressive. He took the time to explain the proper techniques and safety guidelines, ensuring that everyone in our group felt comfortable and confident. Throughout the session, Ian provided insightful tips and guidance, helping us improve our aim and accuracy with each throw.

Furthermore, Ian's ability to create a lively and engaging experience was exceptional. He kept the energy levels high, providing encouragement and cheering us on with every successful toss. His friendly and outgoing personality made the experience enjoyable for everyone, whether they were new to axe throwing or had prior experience.

One thing that stood out about Ian was his attentiveness to the group. He ensured that everyone had enough time to practice and participate, rotating between different lanes and providing individual attention when needed. He also facilitated friendly competitions and games, adding an extra element of excitement and friendly rivalry.

Additionally, Ian's professionalism and commitment to safety were evident throughout the session. He vigilantly followed the safety protocols, ensuring that everyone adhered to them and that the activity was enjoyed in a controlled and safe environment.

In conclusion, axe throwing with Ian at Country Roads was an absolute blast. His knowledge, energy, and engaging personality made the experience fun, memorable, and filled with exciting moments. If you're looking for a unique and thrilling activity, I highly recommend visiting Country Roads and having Ian as your server for an unforgettable axe...

I have to say, for all the hype surrounding West by God Pizza (Google reviews and vloggers), I was disappointed. We decided on this place for pizza night for our family reunion and I wish we would have chosen somewhere else.

First, I would say the service I received was sub par. I arrived to pick up my take out order and no one was at the front desk. I wasn't greeted for at least 10 minutes. After being greeted, it took another 5 minutes to be helped. The gentleman was friendly and helpful once he began to help me.

Second, these pizzas are very light! The dough was light in weight and the amount of toppings, cheese and sauce were very minimal. I had no idea this was the case and probably wouldn't have picked it to feed a large group. Nothing is wrong with light and airy pizza, but for the price and what you get, I wouldn't choose it again for a large group.

Lastly, the pizza was just average. I was really hoping that maybe being light and a little pricey, it would be super high quality and well worth it. In my opinion, it wasn't. We tried 7 different pizzas and I thought at least 1 of them would have really impressed. None did. I think I'd give the best one a 7/10. The rest were probably 5/10s. The crust was pretty good, but I would have thought for being "coal fired," the crust and the pizza would have been more flavorful.

Side note, the Axe throwing looked super fun but it was crazy busy on a Thursday night. It's Pigeon Forge in the summer, so I guess that's to be expected.

Overall, I can't recommend the Pizza at West By God. Maybe I'm just really spoiled by some amazing pizza...

We ordered the Big Thrillbilly Trio through a food delivery service. The food delivery service was great but this restaurant not so much. Let me see where to start. My husband paid an extra $2 to have fried pickles included as our third item and we did not even receive them. Then his wings had the wrong sauce. The pizza was cold (which we would have accepted being that it was for delivery and that sometimes happen IF everything on the order had been correct.) But the pizza was soggy. And tough to chew. They also did not give him the blue cheese for his wings. Also, they sent a nasty looking order of onion rings that I would not have even dared let leave my restaurant. Seriously the breading was not even on the onion ring and they were just onions with breading sitting beside them and they were stone cold, greasy, and looked so unappetizing that I chose to skip their pizza as well and eat leftovers from another restaurant that we had in the fridge. Very disappointed to know we spent over $50 (this was just for the food and not the delivery fee) and for $50+ he ate 3 wings with the wrong flavor and without dipping sauce and 2 pieces of reheated pizza. I wasn't going to waste my time with a review and thought I'd just call them and make them aware, but they don't answer the phone any better than they cook apparently. And so I decided to put in a Google review because my husband spent over an hour reading reviews of different pizza places and this one had SO many good reviews I felt like I should at least warn the next guys who go...

The food delicious! The pour your own beer is an amazing concept! The atmosphere was inviting and fun and your staff was attentive and friendly. Everything about your place was spot on!! So good in fact, we visited at lunch and came back the same night for dinner! My question to you, the owner, is why in the world were you all NOT COVERED UP - BUSY?? We visited on Saturday, August 24, 2024 in the middle of Jeep Invasion. Why did you all not take advantage of the over 50,000 + Jeeps, participants and clubs that were in town??? You all TOTALLY dropped the marketing ball on this one! Why didn’t you have someone throwing ducks with coupons?? Why didn’t you have someone with a Jeep riding around throwing ducks and advertising?? Why didn’t you get in touch with Jeep Clubs and offer a meetups with a pizza buffet and discounts on axe throwing and food?? Why not have a booth in the vendor hall passing out samples, ducks, win a t-shirt contest and coupons?? Advertise 10% off food or axe throwing when you present a duck??? You are LITERALLY losing a LOT of business by NOT targeting your visitors, aka cash cows??? And it’s not just us Jeepsters!! You have Jeep Invasion, RodRun, Bronco Stampede and ALL your holidays. You are sitting on a GOLD MINE and literally NO marketing. It’s kinda sad that you guys have all this amazing fun and delicious food and you have been here three years and we’ve NEVER heard of you. :( I have a ton of ideas and would LOVE to help with marketing ideas!! Please let me know!! Jeff-

Awesome! We've been axe throwing several places around Knoxville and this one is my new favorite! The digital scoring and game board is a fun touch since it gives you several different games to play instead of the usual ring layout. The instructors were great and had the right level of attentiveness for a slow Sunday afternoon. The food and drink options are great! We had the fried pizza rolls and one of their signature pizzas, both were fantastic. The coal fired oven gives the pizza a very unique taste and texture. And deep fried pepperoni rolls.... come on, you know they're good! The iPourit beer wall has a little something for everyone, pales, IPAs, a few stouts, lighter beers and some ciders. The prices were spot on for craft beers with moat options coming in at $4-$7 for a standard pour but since its done by the oz you can have smaller pours if you wish. The wife and I had always wanted to try a pour it yourself style beer experience and between the 2 of us we didn't overspend and felt like we got the right amount of beer without going all willy Wonka style! 5/5 do yourself a favor and go have a great afternoon at a unique local business!

Well, let me tell y’all—if you’re anywhere near Country Roads Axe Co., you better stop in, ‘cause it’s a great time, whether you’re throwin’ axes or not! Now, we didn’t end up throwin’ axes ourselves, but I gotta say, it sure looked like a blast. Folks were havin’ the time of their lives, and the whole setup was real neat to watch. But what really made our visit was the West by God CoalFired Pizza. Let me tell ya, that pizza is somethin’ special. The crust was just the right kind of crispy, and the sauce had that perfect kick to it. They didn’t skimp on the toppings neither—you get your money’s worth for sure. Honestly, it’s some of the best pizza I’ve had in a long while, and that’s sayin’ somethin’! And then, there’s that self-pour beer tap! Now that was the coolest thing. You get to try all kinds of local brews and pay by the ounce, so you can get as little or as much as you want. It’s fun, it’s easy, and it won’t break the bank either. Between the pizza, the beer, and the axe-throwin’ (even if we didn’t do it), this place is a five-star stop. We’ll be back for sure!
