EDIT: even though they didn't have to do it, the owners went to the store and were able to find the item we lost. We're so appreciative for their effort, and I'm editing the review to add this note and change to five stars. They offered to deliver the purse to us late at night, but I'll happily stop in their store tomorrow to fix my mistake. Thanks so much!

I hate to do this, the people there are usually nice and helpful (we rented from them last year, went back to them this year without even shopping around). But we accidentally left a small purse from my daughter in the seat storage - it had her things for her anti nausea stuff - and they just threw it away. It was definitely my fault for leaving it there, I know, and I'll be sorry for a while about it (replacing the llama wallet sucks, as does the batteries and wrist gel, and the Dramamine). So, I know this was my fault. However, I realized my mistake about 24 hours after returning the cart, called, and was told that they throw anything and everything away when they find something left behind. I'm sure they look at things - might be someone's wallet with an ID, or money, right? - so I would think that someone would see what was obviously a kid's wallet with important things inside. Read moreincredibly rude staff...I questioned their "24 hour rental" policy, and they hung up on me. A young lady whose name started with K answered the phone, but her manager took the phone away and took over the call.. Evidently, you have to rent in 24 hour increments, this is the only option.
I explained that if I picked up at 5pm on Friday and returned it 8am on Monday, I shouldn't have to pay for the rental until Monday at 5pm.. Why should I pay for the rental all day on Monday, if I return it by 8am? In fact, they could rent it out at 8:15am on Monday to another customer, meanwhile I am paying for it until 5pm - so in effect they are getting revenue from 2 customers for renting it to only one...
Whatever, its their business - they can rent out how they wish, but hanging up on me because I am trying to understand the policy, then not answering when I call back? If thats how ownership trains their staff, then its probably better we didnt...
