My 7 year old stepped a single foot toward the back of the store... The Imbicle of an owner actually told him that he could have easily shot him if he had wanted and then continued to brag about being armed to another customer.

My son was visibly upset with a tear in his eye and it was as difficult, well maybe harder than anything I've ever done not to drag him out of there and shove his POC gun up his you know where...

Not a good place for kids and it is no bargain shop either, in fact I cannot think of o e good reason to go there unless you are hard up for coin flips and don't mind paying double or triple...

Bill is a great guy, running a great little shop. He knows his stuff, and is always very polite and in a great mood. I have brought my young children into his shop many times, and he is always super friendly with them as well. I would recommend him to anyone in the business of buying or selling precious metals, coins, jewelry, or even paper money. I try and spend as much time as i can in his shop whenever i stop by, asking questions and conversating, i would go so far as to call him my friend at this point. Great...

I have had nothing but good experience from the Poway Coin. I usually buy the Silver Eagles; but have dabbled into some other silver areas as well. He gives spot based on the day's price -- not from yesterdays. In fact, I was there when silver dropped nearly a buck a troy ounce and was happy with the price.

I always call prior to coming down. -- oh yes, cash is king and that's the best way to work the program with him. Or he will have to add a small transaction...
