I was gifted my original wedding ring from my grandmother in Sedona, it was platinum and had 3 beautiful diamonds. My ring was stolen 5 years ago. I have chosen to buy the silicone bands since then which most come in small, medium and large. They serve their purpose. I walked into this store today with my partner and my adult son and his girlfriend. I am newly on the hunt for not only an engagement ring but also wedding band. I have never had to size my finger, my grandmas ring fit and the plastic rings I buy online stretch. I walked in and asked if they could do me a huge favor and tell me my ring size (which I’ve never known.) The answer was “ NO, people are buying rings online and sending them back, just like no two feet are the same size.” I have zero interest in buying anything online and if she would have taken 5 seconds to size my finger I more than likely would have bought from that shop. Why would anyone turn away business? The shop had zero customers. It just baffles me. I’m 46, I’m not some dumb teenager window shopping. The experiance just made me sad…. If a jeweler cannot help me figure out my ring...

I was in Prescott for the first time. While exploring the wonderful Courthouse Plaza area, decided to take a few moments to stop in the Goldmine. I've always liked Navajo jewelry, but only from afar. I had no intention of purchasing any items...at first, but after looking at the available items, I changed my mind. With Tracy's guidance, I picked out a money clip with a turquoise and red coral inlay, and two men's rings. One is silver w/spiney oyster, the other one is a heavy man's ring of silver and a beautiful Cloud Mtn turquoise stone. The turquoise ring had to be resized quite a bit larger and Jim did a great job with the ring. Tracy went to the extra effort of talking to an expert on turquoise where she found that the stone is a nice piece of Cloud Mtn. Turquoise. If I could give this store more stars I would!! My boyfriend and I went in today to look for an engagement ring and were so happy with all the help and information we were given! Jim was incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions, going out of his way to help us make the best choice. There were lots of unique, beautiful options. I was able to try lots of different rings on and he explained pros and cons to all of them.
