I wanted to capture some formal photos with my son and my daughter and decided to use this local business. The first step of the process was great, great introduction, great service, and great attitude in capturing my visualization for the needed attire. They offered the perfect option for charcoal grey vests and ties to match my daughters dress, which had already been purchased online. My son and I went through the measurement process and had our order sent roughly two weeks in advance, mentioning the date we needed the clothing by, and what time the photos were scheduled to take place (Dec. 16th). The day (Wednesday the 14th) we go in to try on the clothing was unsatisfactory. Although my dress pants were too small, the establishment was able to accommodate a larger size to fit my waist, but now the mid-leg portion of the pants seemed a bit too big and wide for my liking and style. My dress shirt (17-17 ½, 34/35) and vest (xl) fit perfect, so that was a positive note for this experience. My son was happy with the way his dress pants fit overall, but his dress shirt was too small and his vest too big (2xl). Also, his shoes were too small and once they switched sizes for him, he had to settle for the shinier finish instead of the semi-gloss we had initially requested. He also had tried on my upper attire, (that was sized for me) which fit both of us perfectly. So, if the order consisted of two of the exact same sizes (17-17 ½, 34/35) (XL vest) for both of us, we would have been fine, but that was not the case. We were even close to settling for white dress shirts as an alternative to the black, but without a proper fitting vest for my son that was still a huge problem. I also was reluctant to this suggestion; because white was not part of my vision for this family portrait, but with the pictures being two days away I was âvery closeâ to settling. When I asked the young woman what my alternative options were, I was replied to in a nonchalant manner, replying they can have new dress shirt and vest delivered but not until Friday by 3 pm. That didnât work because the photoshoot was taking place at 1130 am in a different city. Another possibility was that they can offer a refund, which also did not help my case at all, because the photoshoot was already scheduled, and I still needed the attire. So, in a panic, my next best thing was to take the attire that fit us, which was one dress shirt, one vest and our own dress pants and try to match it with something I can potentially purchase form local department stores. That didnât work out as planned, my son and I ended up having to settle for flat grey dress shirts and semi matte black vests. Completely opposite to what my initial vision was, with black dress shirts and charcoal grey vest to match my daughterâs dress. The very next day (a day before our scheduled photoshoot), I go back and I drop off the unused attire and tell them we couldn't find a matching vest, so the vest and black dress shirt was no longer needed, I also discovered some old black slacks I had at home and realized a better fit in the mid- leg region, and didnât look so wide and baggy (for lack of a better term). I figured why not use these instead, they are more of a slim style of dress pants in comparison to what this local tuxedo and dress rental place had to offer. All in all, we ended up only using a pair of black dress pants and a pair of shoes (shiny finished) for my son. The unused items included, two vest, two dress shirts and one pair of pants, and still paid roughly 89 percent of the cost with only a 30.00$ refund. Off measurements and shipping delays to get the âright sizeâ should not be the customers fault or customers responsibility, especially when times and dates were announced clearly. After talking with the manager and trying to come to an understanding for both parties involved. It was deemed one sided, even the measurements were not the storeâs fault, it was the systems. I will not...
Read moreI'm very disappointed having to write this review I had been told many good things about this place. My brother in laws wedding was out of town and he set everything up for my husband (His best man) and 12 of his groomsman to get their tuxes from here. 1st time walking in already started on a bad note. My husband and I walked in we barely even had the chance to state who he was and what why was there. We were given attitude right off the bat. Then I was told to wait outside cause they were At capacity. Due to Covid which was understandable. She measured him and we were told to everything was good and she would let him know when to pick it up. Then when picking up his tux the pants didn't fit at all not even above the knee. She had the nerve to tell us it was my husband's fault he told her he was a 36 when she measured him a 39. She did figure out a different color of pants that would work and gave us a few names he might be able to trade with. Thank God others had the same problem and he had the right color or he would've been the only 1 not to match. Come to find out at least 6 of the groomsmen including the bride's father had issues with their tuxes and getting measured wrong or not properly sized. Poor thing was literally holding up his pants during the father-daughter dance his wife left to buy a belt. On top of it, all the vest clip in the back to tighten was broken it kept falling off the whole night the shoes didn't fit. She also told my brother-in-law that she wasn't the 1 who measured him which was a lie and that he probably just didn't want to wear them the right way. Upon getting back into town my husband was admitted into the hospital due to complications with his diabetes. We weren't able to return it that Monday I called and spoke with another girl who said it was ok to return it another day. 10 mins later received a call saying we were being charged $25 a day which were never told could happen or signed anything agreeing to it. I truly didn't have the energy to go back and forth Or I would've asked for a refund or discount off the $205 we paid to rent it...
Read moreShould be on a âWorse of Puebloâ list! First off, when I picked up a tuxedo it was not altered to the sizing we had previously done (so that was a waist of time). Second, they gave me a disgustingly dirty shirt that had clearly not been cleaned. When I mentioned it, I was given another shirt with a large visible stain. I calmly said that was the unacceptable and was finally given a clean shirt. When I made my now third trip to this establishment to pick up the altered tuxedo; it was very wrinkled. I mentioned it and had to ask where I can get it pressed (they didnât offer)The bottom line is, this place is extremely unprofessional. When someone is picking up a tuxedo it is obviously for a special event. This place will give you uncleaned and unaltered clothing and shoes for your...
